  1. You need the high resolution DSDT for your model.. there should be one on the forum somewhere...
  2. Bug found, bug fixed. Download a new bootpack and try again
  3. did you use a bootpack from the sites ? http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/bootpack/

  5. Hey, I have seen the same issue that OSX and linux have been able to detect battery issues before bios did it.. i re-tested the battery in windows with a tool i found on download.com - and was able to confirm that the battery infact had issues.. also seen the issue with brand new aftermarked batterys.
  6. Hi, Yes, EDP3 does not use 0edp.kext.. that is version 2.x that uses that - version 3.x uses myhack.kext .. so make sure that you are using the right one.
  7. Hi, I recently upgraded my Dell D430 to run OSX Lion - and with that i noticed that coolbook no longer is working. The problem lies within AppleACPIPlatform.kext in Lion and the solution is to replace it with the one from Snow Leopard 10.6.7 Howto fix it: 1. Download kexthelper 2. Download AppleACPIPlatform.kext from 10.6.7 3. Extract both to desktop 4. Use kexthelper to install AppleACPIPlatform.kext 5. Reboot 6. Reinstall coolbook Enjoy! Ps. This fix is also a permanent part of EDP because it also fixes alot of other issues
  8. You just had a voodooHDA crash.. happends more and more.. piece of *beep*

Dident have time for it, since i dident have it long enough. However, we agreed yesterday that all new machines will get a review on the blog. However, you are welcome to write one
  10. need a bit more info ? .. * Are you running latest Bios ? * What version of osx are you on ? * What version of chameleon and EDP + Describe the problem.. etc.
  11. what OS are you running ? (SL or Lion) .. i know it works under SL.. but not sure with Lion
  12. with magic pad.. yes..
  13. The D430 does not have multi touch support (its a hardware requirement) .. the best PS2 is option 2 in EDP because it gives you side and bottom scroll. However, if you want to play with multi touch, then i suggest you get an apple magicpad
  14. mick isent dont, but this is a good start: http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp2/bootpack/

  21. EDP3 is launched.. enjoy ;-)

  22. Yearly morning.. great stuff coming this week ;)

  23. The problem with getting this to work on Dp2 and higher is that DP2 is pure x64 bit, and the kexts does not work in 64bit mode - further more, apple have changed openGL version and neither the GMA945/50 or x3100 have the hardware support for that.
