  1. yep.. But only under SL so faar...
  2. Hi, Most likely because apple have dropped support for it in Lion... or the combination between the card ID and your machine ID dosent work. Just get a broadcom, look at the wiki under the re-branding section.. all of those works with OSX SL/Lion.
  3. No, i have yet to find a good working kext.. but feel free to search around and come back with your results.. i havent spent much time on researching - but i think its just a matter of testing what is out there
  4. just install chameleon and then replace the boot file
  5. Yes, its because it can't find a mouse.. just connect an usb mouse and keyboard...
  6. Thats where you go wrong.. you use the bootpack as a OS pack. Once you have installed.... 1. Download EDP from http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/ 2. Install EDP 3. If edptool dosent run automaticly, then run edptool.command from /Extra on your harddisk) Follow the guide here for howto make a new build: http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp-do-a-new-build/
  7. Hi, Just speculating here - since 200+ users have the same model, and it worked fine. You said that keyboard did not work during installation.. right.. thats common - a usb keyboard can fix that. Then, when you are done installing and you boot into OSX - did you install EDP (download it from the WIKI's EDP page, not to be confused with a bootpack) .. and did you do a build afterwards ?
  8. You are using EDP.. right ? (just double checking) ... and your keyb is set to PS2 in bios ?
  9. actually, thats just cosmetics.. if you run a xbench test you will see that you still get full performance.. you can correct it by mnodifying smbios.plist in /Extra
  10. all dell latitudes have replaceable wifi cards .. same with WWAN
  11. try making the freedos pen from windows instead... i have a feeling the osx version is buggy
  12. Replace the wifi with a broadcom card .. you can pick one up from ebay quite cheap Make sure that your usb key is MBR and not GUID (many people change it to GUID when installing OSX, and forget to change it back to MBR after done installing)
  13. Does it make any diffrence if you transfer eg. via network ?
  14. Its very much alike the Chromebook cr48 that i'm messing around with these days. The bad thing is the graphic card, while you can get full resolution under SL, then (so faar) there is no way to get accelrated graphics.. sadly.. meaning stuff like flash.. youtube.. etc. will be a pain to use I would suggest SL.. google around and see if any other have had any success with that model .. maybe you can find a pre-made package ready to use
  15. hmm... i know what i would do.. just replace the card..but hey.. thats me how about if you boot into osx with it disabled, replace the network kext from mariusz's post and reboot with wifi enabled ?
  16. disable the wifi in bios when installing, and turn it back on after your install is finished
  17. Cool progress.. i would love to help you get them running 110% so that we can include your setup in EDP for other users. Do you know what kind of trackpad you have ? (ALPS or Synaptics)

Hey mate, We dont support Leopard anymore, i urge you to move on to atleast Snow Leopard instead. The reason for this, is that most of the kexts, dsdt etc. we have is updated and matched for SL or Lion. Also, its worth to notice, that you will find much better support for your machine in SL/Lion
  19. there is an alternate trackpad in EDP also that should work for that trackpad.. look in the edptool menus
  20. Then try one of the others.. there is 4 diffrent versions in EDP
  21. The easy fix is to buy a apple usb network adapter, you can pick those up cheap - they are one 1gbit and extremely stable. I bought one and used when i had a D620 as a home server... give it a try
