  1. try a newer chameleon version and see if hd2000 works for you there is a thread on the forum foe elan trackpad add it to E/E and run a myfix from myHack app white screen issue is probably because of your graphics not supported at the moment as for wifi i guess google them for osx compatibility.
  2. maybe remove the intel wifi from the machine and see if it still happens. also run a permissions fix with disk utility.
  3. alot of older usb thumbdrives have issues with bootloaders. try formating it fat with an mbr partition in diskutility options. then make the myhack pen.... maybe download myhack again in case it was a bad download.
  4. you can do it after. if possible run it from the new installed os.
  5. did you add the ioata kext to the new osx e/e folder and do a my fix? check if it is in your e/e.
  6. just re install chameleon to the device that has the Boot0 error.
  7. no clue... but some models have options for graphics when on dock in bios wether to use onboard or dock.
  8. glad to here it worked out for you.
  9. with chameleon 2169 and up chameleon now has persistence with the boot flags you enter at the chameleon prompt it will store them even if you shut down or reboot. make sure you clear your flags. and like herve said if you have multi partitions chameleon will only respond to the org.chameleon.Boot.plist on the partition you originaly installed chameleon too usually the first partition with osx after the small efi one. in my case i have to edit my lion Boot.plist to affect my ML since i had lion installed first.
  10. i know having BT on during install sometimes causes issues on d630/d830 Jan 20 18:37:03 macbookpro-001d09c43f6a.local Unknown[284]: 2013-01-24 18:37:03.424 LCA[283:707] LCA+BT2: systemHasBluetooth entry shut it off in bios during install.
  11. well check if maybe this pertains to your situation https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/355-d620-docking-station-vga-out/&do=findComment&comment=2648 or maybe you need a dvi to vga adapter but dont quote me on that
  12. then maybe osx is not reading your monitors EDID properly. have you tested with switchresx app? http://www.madrau.com/indexSRX4.html it is trial ware so at least they let you test it.
  13. make sure it is enabled in BIOS and you dont have the externel switch in the off position. maybe a reseat of the wifi card is necessary.
  14. mouse lag usually means either your missing the tscsync.kext or try booting with cpus=1 flag at the chameleon prompt.
  15. Welcome to our community and cheers.
  16. if your lion detects your hdd then take the ioatafamily.kext from s/l/e and put it in the ML e/e and do a myfix from the myhack installer. but like herve said graphics will have it's issues.
  17. are you both on the same bios version? they do correct weird issues like that in bios updates.
  18. have you tried a dvi to vga adapter or cable? i have never tested but maybe it will help?
  19. try the same as above a few times. you might have a 4k sector drive. it usually works the first time though running the myhack chameleon install from the booted os.
  20. well use whatever you can to get osx installed then make the myhack pen
  21. technically you should be able to build edp on the stable machine for your specific model before swapping hdd's. if it works you can just clone it to another hdd in disk utility or one of those other cloning softwares like super duper or ccc carbon copy cloner
  22. some times. but if it's a d420/d430 hdd idk. those are similar to ipod classic hdd but they wont work with apples ipod firmware. man those drives suck lol. and an ssd version is super costly.
  23. hmm it is weird try swapping the hdd with one of the other models you have. maybe there is something buggy with the HDD?
  24. hmm... does it have intel wifi? it tends to do weird things. try bypassing the cache with -f -v also what version number of osx are you installing
  25. are you running edp and installing it on the hdd? it wont work on usb. it needs to build and update the kernel caches on the running os.
