  1. no i have a 620 gma.... the cure to that is adding a password in bios. the d620 has an option to also bypass the passoword on wake from sleep. so i only have to enter the password at a cold boot. sleeps and wakes fine after that. http://www.osxlatitude.com/getting-sleep-to-work-on-your-dell/
  2. boot with -v -f at the chameleon prompt and post your findings

look for your shutdown logs and see whats hanging it up. it could be anything. many times it can be caused by usb.

depends on what you used to install the kext... if you used myHack then simply delete it from Extra/Extensions and run a myfix. what i wanted you to try was the dsdt in the insanely link. it goes in /Extra you have to rename it to DSDT.aml http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/235523-dsdt-auto-patcher/page__st__5560#entry1738248 post 5572
  7. did you ever try the password method?
  8. wait a second you have a high res model d620? if you do then you cannot use the low res DSDT.aml it causes graphics corruption.

  10. is it like a model specific disc that came with a computer? those do not work. they are geared twords that specific machine. retail version would be the one you buy at a store for install or upgrade.
  11. can you try with the older edp dsdt. dual monitor support dose not work in mirror mode. DSDT.aml.zip

the edp bootpacks do not contain those 2 kexts. you can try voodoohda. what is your ethernet card model and make.

  14. if your using an install from a torrent site expect issues
  15. that happens on d620 nvidia models mostly after a sleep
  16. it could be look in the org.chameleon.Boot.plist and see if it says arch=i386 or any mention of i386 and remove it. ml is 64bit only so arch-x86_64 or no description of arch at all in the Boot.plist
  17. you can set your resolution in org.chameleon.boot.plist Graphics Mode 1280x800x32
  18. the drivers are in System/Library/Extensions/ you might need to add your device id's to the info.plist that resides within. also the related framebuffer kexts but you can try this method http://blog.stuffedcow.net/2012/07/intel-hd4000-qeci-acceleration/
  19. so that was with the monitor connected straight to the docking station or to the laptop vga port? the docking station has not been thoroughly researched.
  20. yeah i just double checked the official trunk of chameleon it does not have the hd4000. sorry about that i should have checked there first http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/source/tree/HEAD/trunk/i386/libsaio/gma.c
