Hi, I hope I posted in the right category, but basically, I have a Dell Latitude E6540 (with an i7 4810MQ, Radeon HD 8790M and HD Graphics 4600) that I have successfully hackintoshed, with basically everything working completely by using a guide (I forgot who made it, but it was really useful!) The only thing that doesn't work is the dGPU (my Radeon HD 8790M), as macOS only shows my HD 4600. In Clover, there is an option to "Inject ATI", but in those settings everything is set to 0x00000000 or something similar (like FakeID: 0x00000), and the last time I tried checking "Inject ATI", macOS wouldn't boot. I've seen some people with my same laptop saying that they wanted to disable they're 8790M, but I just couldn't figure out how I could even enable it. And also, the user who made the guide has something called "bootpacks" I believe, when booting with Clover. One of them was with "Optimus", but then I looked it up and it seems like that is only a Nvidia thing? I'm not that good at hackintoshing, so excuse me if I'm doing anything wrong. For reference, I included an image at the top of the post. If anyone can help me get my HD 8790M working, that would be very nice :3

I tried to install el captain 10.11.3 some time ago and got stuck at the black screen documented with this card. I tried editing the amdradeonx4000.kext to the old values and had no success. Im thinking back and I bet SIP was enabled that time around.. El capitan has some learning curve.. The specs: Motherboard: Biostar tz77xe3 CPU: i5 2500 Ram: 8GB G-Skill Ripjaws 4x2GB Video : HIS Radeon HD 7700 (dev id: 0x683d) This time, instead of editing the kext I tried using the same edits using this verde.kext I found on another site I had issues for what its worth, When installing: Clover may not load the kexts from the proper VERSION file within the kexts folder. I had to copy my fakesmc and lan and verde kext to a few other version folders to get to the desktop. do not get discouraged. It makes the same edits, only being its own kext will survive updates to my understanding It should work with ati cards with the following dev ids: 0x6820 0x6821 0x6823 0x6825 0x6827 0x682D 0x682F 0x6839 0x683B 0x683D 0x683F So with the knowledge from the board, I was able to get this desktop up and running nearly perfect with little interaction for others means I'm learning I guess. I wanna thank Hervé for sure, big help.

I installed the El Capitan on a Dell N5010 with Clover. The problem is that I have a low resolution (also runs very laggy) and the video memory shows only 3mb. Some says that with Clover bootloader you can achieve QE/CI on the Mobility Radeon by setting "LoadVBios=Yes" but seems that didn't do trick. Is there anyway to fix this problem ? Card Name : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 (1 GB RAM)

Hello, I am still researching on how to get my integrated AMD Radeon 8650G working on my Hackintosh. I haven't seen much for cards closely related to mine. So, I wanted to ask, does anyone have a fully working graphics card from the Richland (Radeon HD 8xxxD, 8xxxG) in OS X? Thanks. Edit: I have decided to make this post dedicated to progress concerning full Radeon HD 8650G (Richland) support in Yosemite.
