I have a Dell Inspiron 3537 with Core i7 - 4500U processor, 8GB Ram, Intel HD4400 Graphics, Radeon Discrete Graphics(which I believe I have disabled correctly) My setup might sound a bit odd as I have two SSD's and on the main one where I keep the Mac-OS I have an EFI with Clover which runs smoothly when booting the system, however, I cannot do any updates on that Clover (probably something wrong with the Config.plist which I cannot figure out) On the secondary SSD I have another EFI with Clover which works flawlessly when I run any Mac-OS updates, however that one Panics when I want to run

Hi, Last year I installed Yosemite on my E6230. It was fun to do, but it took a lot of time to get everything working. Is there a way to upgrade my current installation to Mavericks or even El Capitain? If so, is there a way to do that without starting from scratch?

OK so I had Maverick 10.9.2 running OK on my 6520. Then I upgraded via update app to 10.9.3 and forgot too do myhack before rebooting. So I was booting to a black screen. I used imicks recovery and delete kext tutorial to boot into single user and delete a few problem kext and was then able to boot into safe mode. I tried updating chameleon. Not sure that worked or not. Now Im stuck in a bootloop and can't access anything from bootmenu.... Thanks for the awesome write-up imick!!!! I was running Mav 10.9.2 for a while without issues.
