Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 22, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 22, 2015 Install this. After wake, speaker will work, but not headphone To get headphone to work, plug in the jack, place system to sleep and then wake it up. No other known fix at this time for this particular ALC292. Administrators Hervé Posted May 23, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 23, 2015 If you're talking about Preview, there's a binary patch to fix the Haswell-related problem. See my E6440 guide. Jake linked to it on p40.
uniqe15
I did it , got another question is it possibe to enable Open CL? I'm using photoshop and this feature would be very helpful, even in chrome it would increase performance http://scr.hu/2xmw/s6omg
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 23, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 23, 2015 OpenCL should be supported without the patch mention when using FakePCIID and FakePCIID_HD4600_HD4400
kfiatos
Is your coursor also glitchy? Jumping around sometimes? Not precise? Is there any way to improve it?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 24, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 24, 2015 Not jumpy, but sometimes single click acts as double clicking. There's no further development since Sontrg. The one in my bootpack is the last known working kext. ApplePS2Controller v1.5 is a lot smoother if you want to try it, but it acts as a regular mouse. No scrolling whatsoever. But if you combine it with Smartscroll.app (shareware), you'll get trackstick scrolling with the middle mouse. You could even get touchpad scrolling if you hold down the middle mouse, but no 2 finger scrolling or single finger side scrolling. You could also try Karabiner (freeware), a key remapping app but has the scrolling capability like Smartscroll but without inertia scrolling. kfiatos
Ok. I'll try that. Maybe it's possible to just leave the trackpoint and disable touchpad? Do You know the way to do this?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 24, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 24, 2015 No sure why you would want to do that, but you can't do it through preference not BIOS. Only way is to physically removing the ribbon that connects to the system board. It right underneath the battery, but you have to be really careful. These things are so fragile, it can easily break and I'm not taking any responsibility for any damage you create.
