  1. added the AGDP patch as suggested by Hervé Archive2.zip
  2. @heysahilsingh try this patch, see if it'll help https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/8723-enabling-dvidphdmi-and-increasing-vram-with-intel-haswell4th-gen-hd420044004600etc-igpu/?do=findComment&comment=84623 R7 240 can work by spoofing See here https://dortania.github.io/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/Universal/spoof.html So to spoof the GPU, we need to find a couple things: Suitable PCI ID for the GPU ACPI Path of the GPU SSDT-GPU-SPOOF.aml
  3. VGA port is either supported natively or it does not. It varies from system to system. In your cast, I assume it's not.
  4. Looks like you put the EFI folder in the same location as com.apple.recovery.boot
  5. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/installer-guide/winblows-install.html#downloading-macos or use some 3rd party app to mount your EFI partition
  6. follow installation guide here but use the EFI you have downloaded https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/ https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/installer-guide/mac-install.html#downloading-macos-modern-os
  7. Did you download MacOS and create the installer using createinsteallmedia command? Then mount the EFI partition to add the EFI folder? Sounds like you only have an EFI folder boot without the installer
  8. ignore the MacOSX folder, that's create when files are accessed from Windows. Use the EFI folder
  9. both links worked just fine. I just tested them Either way, any of the EFI should work
  10. Yes, partition the drive, make sure it's formatted to GUID require for Mac, Windows will also run in GUID. You can choose which os to boot from the OC picker.
  11. see my response to @PhantomGhostX
  12. you can generate a new SMBIOS serial, ROM, etc and updated config file later. Just want get the installation done 1st FYI, no need to quote me on your replies.
  13. Replace the whole EFI folder or at least Boot and OC folders into the EFI folder because the files must be from the same version of OC. You can't have Boot folder from a difference version of OC
  14. Have you tried searching the forum? Here's a couple : https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/17665-dell-7490-usb-c-not-working/ or https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/17640-latitude-7490-unable-to-update-to-macos-ventura/
  15. @Artisto You should usually update the kexts and sometimes OC to the latest before upgrading. If you're not sure, then you should wait to see how others succeed. Always have a working EFI boot disk handy whenever you update. You can either update the USB drive to test if it'll boot before updating the harddisk EFI or vise versa.
  16. Try these. Rename to config.plist Post IOReg file for each if it booted Archive.zip
  17. There's no indication that there's a built-in ethernet according to the IOReg file. Check your BIOS, make sure it's enabled. Remove IntelMausiEthernet and replace it with latest IntelMausi Remove ACPIBatteryManager, you already have SMCBatteryManager.kext Lastly, you have an issue with the truncated SMBIOS To fix it, enable CustomSMBIOSGuid Change UpdateSMBIOSMode to Custom in the config file
  18. @mr.kasper You didn't provide the IOReg as requested Connect the monitor. Launch IORegistryExplorer.app and save the file Attach it here
  19. Post IOReg file with the monitor connected. Are you connected via DP to DP? DP to HDMI?
  20. Why would you need to press F12? Doesn't both MacOS show up in the boot option? I'm assuming you're using OpenCore.
  21. give this a try Made minor adjustment to your config file config.plist.zip post IOReg file if it doesn't hang
  22. Had you reset NVRam after the changes? DP should work OOB
