  1. @Takiller I think Whatevergreen does that automatically. So for my systems, if I leave it at IGPU like in Clover, brightness won't work. I need it set to GFX0. I don't even enabled the rename of GFX0->IGPU in the Config file in OC. I don't use static DSDT but only hotpatches with SSDT'x so maybe that's the difference. Ok confirmed. Looks like if I'm using static DSDT with patched IGPU, then PNLF should also follow the same re-name otherwise the brightness won't work in that case.
  2. I see you also have a dGPU which is disable via DSDT. Check is HDMI is hardwired to the dGPU, or check in the BIOS if you can set Intel HD for HDMI.
  3. @Lego Did you select Reset NVRam after replacing the Config file? Post new IOReg file please
  4. Yes, tested on BS Beta2. For Beta3, you might just need to add to boot arg vsmcgen=1
  5. I think the 7400 is like the 7490. It has an Alps I2C touchpad and there's no real support for it other than basic mouse movement and maybe 2 fingers scrolling.
  6. Here, added the broadcom BT kexts and disabled your Intel BT kexts. config.plist.zip
  7. Post your files. I believe you were using OC currently?
  8. Yes it's already in your attachment prior and I had added to the previous Config. I guess it's not working. Try this Config config-diableNvidia.zip Replace SSDT-9 with this one SSDT-9.aml.zip
  9. here, use this Config. it disabled the subparts kext and enable usbinjectall Launch Hackintool and IOReg plug in each type of usb ( 2 and 3) on each port. If you still can't get it, then save the IOReg file and a screenshot of the Hackintool Attach it here, I'll try to patch it for you config.-usbport.zip
  10. @mtviewer That file is a bit outdated. Make sure to install latest Clover v5119, v5120 still have some glitches Replace the attached contents into /EFI/Clover and try again Post screenshot of KP if you encounter it. Make sure to set BIOS accordingly. See Hervé's Latitude 7490 BIOS settings. E7480_HD520.zip
  11. 1) Big Sur has new protection feature like sealing and snapshots. You'll have to read up on that and how to get around it. You'll have to figure out how to remove the snapshots then you'll have access to read/ write to the system files. Might have to wait for new tools from the developers. 2) You're using the VoodooPS2Controller version from acidanthera, it doesn't work for Alps touchpad which is what this system has. Did you try the version I had attached previously? 3) Your BT is not working is because you're using USBPorts.kext specific to the E6540's USB ports that @Takiller created for that system. You'll need to remove it and create your own for this model with Hackintool.app under the USB tab.
  12. Give this a try. Looks like you already added the latest kexts so they should be good config-wifi-BatteryFix.zip
  13. Did you try the VoodooPS2 I posted previously to fix the mouse issue?
  14. Chris1111 has this wifi app that can fix that issue even though you don't have that wifi Just install, allow the realtek in Security, then uninstall. Reboot and the name is back to normal. https://github.com/chris1111/Wireless-USB-Big-Sur-Adapter/releases/tag/V3
  15. Trackpad not working or no gestures? You should at least get basic movement and scrolling as well as for the trackpoint. I haven't try Beta3 so if that's what you're running, than I can't comment until I try it.
  16. That's good information we need to know. OC is a lot different than Clover. You need to add the kexts' name in specific order in the Config file beside just adding them to the kexts folder. Please post both the OC folder and the IOReg file since you didn't attach anything above. You need to compress them before attaching.
  17. post IOREg file what wifi device does it have?
  18. try this Config, modded for H4000. You might want to replace the DSDT.aml with yours The long boot during installation is normal config.plist.zip
  19. is the keyboard or mouse working? Use arrow key?
  20. just reload file to add verbose mode. It might help to determine the issue
  21. My files works perfectly on the installer. I don't do VM or completed install.
  22. Here give this a try, replace with this kext, config updated. When I install, it just default to the 1 name on top, you just need to select your language. Alps_PS2.zip
  23. @Takiller @xdevillived666 Try this version of VoodooPS2 for Alps. Should work on the installer in the Kexts folder, no need to be in /L/E. Looks like you're using acidanthera's version. You'll need to disable mouse and input in the plugins since 1revenger1's version doesn't have that. @Takiller Hmm, a closer look at your Config file, you have VoodooPS2Controller, keyboard, input, trackpad, and mouse disabled. Could be why it's not working during install? @Lego The Config is already set to English keyboard. Did you select the correct language during the language selection?
  24. I just uploaded a new bootpack. Had to make a minor adjustment since it won't detect me NVMe drive in OC Picker. Tested to boot to Catalina & BS successfully.
