  7. once you see the chameleon boot screen.. press an arrow key and you should see your windows screen...

  10. is it an orginal battery.. i have seen the same issue with a copy-cat battery
  11. Do this... 1. Boot into single mode by typing: -s -v [enter] In chameleon Mount your harddisk (i says on the screen howto do that) Then remove your /Extra folder by typing: rm -R /Extra Reboot the computer and boot of a clean leppy pen (the one of the wiki) once you are in osx, install bootloader (665) and a EDP 1.5 rc6 from the forum...
  12. when you see the chameleon boot screen, you can write boot cmds. Type: pmVersion=21 -v ... and hit enter to boot...
  13. try and boot with pmVersion=21 .. sounds like you are running a older EDP...
  14. i switched my ALT and Windows key.. seems to make more sense, on top of that i have changed copy/paste/select all etc. to windows shortcuts..like CTRL+C etc.
  15. you need to be on cable and not activate the wireless network.. because if you activate the wireless, then you will get the above message...

    New FakeSMC

    Hi, It just stroke me why we dident goto FakeSMC 3.x to begin with... look here.... iStat shows 33c while coolbook shows the correct 49c... Slice / Marirusz / Anyone, got any idea howto fix that ?

  23. Hey, Congrats with the new laptop Do you happend to have another machine running OSX ? With the latest EDP, you can put it directly on a usb pen a do a build for the usb pen, the problem is that the graphic, also known as x3100 isent supported via the standard boot package - rest asure that we are looking for a permanent solution. Thund3r (Joe) also posted a temp. guide here on the forum for installing on a D630 wich is very similar to the d830... give it a go...
