  1. nope, mine dosent work if i boot with -f also.. but if i boot normal, it works to a certain extend.. EDIT: with the latest version the appleps2controller you should not need to boot with -f
  2. i use coolbook everyday, and yes.. i feel both a performance and cooling gain
  3. Is it the one in dsdt or where did you get it from ? (thinking in terms of seeding it thru EDP)
  4. Tested it out again, and here is my wishlist. 1. Remove the "drag on touchpad" 2. Support "disabling/enabling tapping" 3. Add right/bottom scroll and boom. .we have a perfect driver .. good work
  5. https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/41-chameleon-v20-rc5-r665/ try that one.. just unzip and install.. no console commands needed...

    Slow HDD

Formatted capacity : 120GB High Speed Digital Signal Processor Based Architecture Low Power HDC Advanced Power Management Control Fluid Dynamic Bearing Spindle Motor Technology SATA S.M.A.R.T Compliant SATA 48-bit Address Feature Set Multi-Burst On-The-Fly Error Correction SilentSeekâ„¢ Capacity * 120GB Interface PATA/ZIF Buffer DRAM Size 8 MB Byte per Sector 4K Rotational Speed 4200 RPM .... 4200 rpm.. that explains why its slow.. you can get both 5200 and 7200rpm for zif pata..
  8. Give it a try.. i use it as a replacement for speedstep.. sure.. it costs 10$ .. but thats a fair price
  9. it is seeded.... .. or use the other method
  10. Nope, removed the kext since it overwrote it. I tried putting it in /s/l/e but then i can't boot at all... also tested on a another installation using ur latest bootloader+ur dsdt+ur smbios etc. etc.. same.. strange..

  12. Ok.. this kext hate me!! I get KP all the time.... can only boot with -v -f, then do fresh extentions.mkext... reboot... then it works.. after next reboot.. its KP again..
  13. Works but a few notices: 1. Its extremely sensetive, even if i set tracking speed to slow 2. How can i disable tapping in the pad (its over sensetive), changing it in the prefs. pane does not change it .. and as it is now, it makes it pretty useless.. i'm literally tapping all the time... Scroll works.. _nice_...
  14. hmm... have you tried using the EDP package and see if that makes a diffrence, the dsdt.aml from dsdt contains some stuff for the HD Btw.. what HD model did you buy ?

    My installation

    My installation

Allright, got your plist added also, and now a status: I did: 1. Downgraded my bios to one without dsdt added 2. Added latest voodooHDA to /s/l/e 3. Installed your latest chameleon 4. Changed to your smbios 5. Added your macbook1,1.plist to the correct file as specificed in your email Good 1. I can see more pci devices 2. I can monitor tempreture on both cores Not good 1. Speedstep does not work 2. voodoops2controller lost ability to scroll 3. System is running warmer than with nullpower+sleepenabler 4. Still measure wrong temp. (compared istat and coolbook) 5. Coolbook can not regulate speed 6. Still have audio delay .. Looking forward to your next update .. have a good weekend.. UPDATE: * Seems that its the latest bootloader that does so that voodoops2controller (debug) loose its ability to scroll, just reverted to 665, and got scroll back.
