  3. Works but a few notices: 1. Its extremely sensetive, even if i set tracking speed to slow 2. How can i disable tapping in the pad (its over sensetive), changing it in the prefs. pane does not change it .. and as it is now, it makes it pretty useless.. i'm literally tapping all the time... Scroll works.. _nice_...

hmm... have you tried using the EDP package and see if that makes a diffrence, the dsdt.aml from dsdt contains some stuff for the HD Btw.. what HD model did you buy ?

    My installation

shit!!!! damnit.. i guess we should have gotten you a D430-c2d .. is it the harddisk that is maxed out or the CPU ? .. how about memory.. it uses standard DDR2 and can take a 2gb block...

    My installation

Allright, got your plist added also, and now a status: I did: 1. Downgraded my bios to one without dsdt added 2. Added latest voodooHDA to /s/l/e 3. Installed your latest chameleon 4. Changed to your smbios 5. Added your macbook1,1.plist to the correct file as specificed in your email Good 1. I can see more pci devices 2. I can monitor tempreture on both cores Not good 1. Speedstep does not work 2. voodoops2controller lost ability to scroll 3. System is running warmer than with nullpower+sleepenabler 4. Still measure wrong temp. (compared istat and coolbook) 5. Coolbook can not regulate speed 6. Still have audio delay .. Looking forward to your next update .. have a good weekend.. UPDATE: * Seems that its the latest bootloader that does so that voodoops2controller (debug) loose its ability to scroll, just reverted to 665, and got scroll back.
  8. Ya, but i mean more in terms of what modules to use and what not to...
  9. do we have a guide for using slices version ?

  11. whole so i can compare to mine..
  12. can you please list your bios config here.. .?
  13. Sweet.. remember to document your progress so that we later can have others test it also or even better, put it into EDP...
  14. Ya, we should find a way to map FN+arrow up/down to the correct keys.. FN+F5 = turns down light FN+F12 = Turns up light I read somewhere, that somebody have succeded in remapping that in dsdt... heard about that before ?
  15. Hi, Some important pointers, just follow the guide.. install chameleon 665 onto the HD, its a requirement - and put EDP on the hardddisk. While its good to have a usb stick, i have noticed alot of issues if only booting from USB. Also, we are atleast 10 others who have the same model as you, and it work out of the box, if you just follow the guide. As for the battery, if your battery isent orginal (you can get copy-cat/replacement batterys) - those might not be deteced correctly..
  16. Hey mate, Sorry, had to crash early yesterday - got the damn flu! Lets get this fixed. First a few questions if you dont mind (i might have asked it before, but i'm still in bed with the flu, so please bear over with me:) 1. Are you using an original or battery ? 2. Are you using latest BIOS update ? (You might wanna check another forum post here, CRC made a special bios update for the D430 series) 3. Just to make sure, you copied the EDP 1.5rc6 to /Extra on your harddisk .. right ? 4. Run edptool again, and do a new build, but dont restart, now try and copy voodoobattery.kext from /Extra/models/other-kexts into /Extra/Extentions Removed the "AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext", do a new build via edptool by selecting "make build from my present configuration"
  17. happy that its working for you..
  18. The 945 is pretty much the same as 950, so just choose D620-intel from the edptool...
  19. I use voodoops2 .. however, those doesnot have anything todo with the battery... And i use EDP 1.5 rc6
  20. Hmm.. gotta be some software config error, i have the excat same machine as you, and it works perfect here...
  21. Are you using the native battery meter in OSX or the one from istat ?
