  1. 10.6.7 combo update and edp 1.7 or 1.8 if your using 10.6.6 then use edp 1.6 until you update to 10.6.7 combo and all osx updates especially network ones then run edp
  2. try adding pciroot=1 to boot plist see if it makes a diff. if not try graphics enabler = yes in chameleon or better yet use lizard app to make changes its in edp 1.8
  3. boot with -v -f options if not -v -x then after it boots try rebooting
  4. yeah just run edp and build to your machine/ liking
  5. all your questions can be answered by reading the wiki... for one you need a bootloader installed on your osx drive.
  6. that means its looking for a mouse. try hooking a usb mouse to it. i have palmed the keyboard keys randomly and gotten past that screen.
  7. Unzip and burn this iso you should be able to use windows to burn to cd. it's custom made for D820 Nvidia only from EDP Files/ DSDT when chameleon boots swap cd's and press F5 to scan for disks then select osx install cd and install.... if using usb stick press f12 while bios is booting and select cd rom as boot drive you can have usb stick installed while doing it D820NvidiaBootCD.iso.zip
  8. your issue was probably the kext for video. D430 has different graphics then D630. so you needed a "new cache build" for D630.
  9. oh it is in EDP 1.8 and is playing nicely but 1.7 has a older sleep enabler. i was waiting on some testing for this so we could wrap up 1.8
  10. power pack go to that link and follow the instructions on post 6. it has a different sleepenabler than EDP1.7
  11. do you have a system bios password set? you need it to activate sleep on most latitudes... if not you just get a black screen on wake. then in edp run sleep fix. maybe that can makeup for sleep enabler... im not sure of your bios but some have the option in bios that allows you not to have to input password when "waking" from sleep, so only at boot do you need to add a password. great if you dont have to restart every time when sleep works properly.
  12. it does not look like it's loading at all from your kernel.log try it with out sleepenabler wich also has a nub to see if it's conflicting.. also are you booting in -x or -s or arch=x86_64 ? that can cause some kexts not to load. if not use EDP to build for your machine with slice trackpad once its built replace trackpad kext with the modified one rebuild with existing (option a) in edptool and reboot you can use this methode with and without power pack.
  13. usually all EDP actions require a reboot.
  14. yeah that looks right... maybe it is the nub? try without it if you can.
  15. thats funny. thats the same audio i have stac 9200 and it's not affected you sure you have all the audio kext's in e/e?
  16. glad everyting is working out...
  17. thanks for the input... so 2 down more to go... D520, D620
  18. this is a mix of anv and slice's work i used slices keybord fixes and anv trackpad with alps windows plist mods needs testing i used those two because there based on the same sources from begining of thread.... not sure of what latitudes will function correctly but it works for d620-intel (which is what i have to test... on some feed back would be great, thanks) i have been running it for 2 weeks now and it seems stable enough. ApplePS2Controller.kext.zip
  19. sleep works if you follow the wiki... also there are 2 diffrent d620 you need to build edp for the one you have (gma or nvidia graphics) no intel wifi is not supported osx never used them so no drivers.
  20. for power pack issue replace "power" folder in extra/models/kextpacks with the attached one make sure to unzip it first. as for acpi somtimes you need to reboot or clear system catches power.zip
  21. no you just have to add a system password to bios... it's like leon said... all in the wiki
  22. just make sure to apply 10.6.7 combo update and all updates before rebooting if your going to use 1.7 (like that your completely up to date on all fronts)
