Yes, this is a bug and its been fixed in the new version which is due for release this week have many fixes/improvements.

New version has only one kext so try to remove the old version which has two kexts before installing new version.

Well, fn + F12 and Insert was simulating F14 and F15 keys of OSX for the brightness and i've modified the keyboard to work what it should do. Why you care this? as there is an option in my keyboard with Fn keys mode where you can control brightness and many other OSX functions. (2)In my keyboard ,fn+arrowup and fn+arrowdown is used to change brightness . I changed fnkeys mode to 1 and changed arrowdown to brightnessdown ,so I can use fn+arrowdown to keep brightness down.But there is not an arrowup to use in info.plist of keyboard controller. Can you add arrowup to the info.plist ? Yes, next version will have this also some good changes to keyboard with bug fixes.

Sorry for the trouble, as we are doing some changes in EDP for models support so it may have caused some issues to some models. So,please let me know your specification so i can look into EDP model to fix and let you know the recommended way to install it.

Here is your dsdt patched for your fn keys and backlight along with other needed patches. You need to use my AsusBacklightPanelxxx and AsusNBFnkeys kexts from projects section to get them working. DSDT.aml.zip

Try the attached file, but use Kext Utility to install the kexts and let me know your system log completely and an ioreg file. was any one of my old versions of kexts worked fine before? what is the version of it? BTFirmwareUploader#2.1Test.zip

This tell me that your Vanilla IOBluetoothKextxxx is not very good. So, i suggest you to try installing vanilla IOBluetoothFamilyxx kext back without any changes to the kext. Also i found that my kext is loading at the end of the boot instead of at the beginning, do you change anything in my kext from v2.1? What is your OSX version? I've found this in your log, which indicates my kext is working fine and uploaded firmware successfully.

Was it working fine before? Can you test this again in any old version and confirm? I don't get this issue as if its not working at boot then it should not be all the time. It could be OSX shortcut not ready as OSX takes time to load everything at boot.

You have v4 hardware with physical buttons? v3 hardware doesn't has virtual buttons mode and this is for v4 hardware without physical buttons. Pinch zoom in and zoom out works as its tested very well by me and beta testers, was it working fine before in other versions? can you try and confirm?

You want to disable Display sleep fn key feature? Yes, then you can remove the mapping by editing plist as explained in the keyboard features thread.

Your bluetooth was not recognized in OSX as well according to your ioreg file.

Send your complete system log and an ioreg file plz, so i can i can look for the reason. Also my new version doesn't show many messages in log and it will have only two messages.

Don't try do warm boot into windows from OSX, and that could have strange issues due to the driver difference in OSX and windows.

What you mean don't have touchpad gestures? you need to read my touchpad features thread to understand the gestures usage.

What you mean delay in cmd+space? I don't have any delay when using this shortcut in my notebook. Please explain your issue. And Fn key mode 3 works only if the Context menu key acts as Fn, so why do you want to use mode 3 with Context menu key working as regular context menu? If you want Asus key mapping for fn keys then try to edit plist for mode 1 which has Right context menu working as it is.

brightness up is not working? did you patch dsdt like i explained? other keys working?

Yes, its possible as some users got haswell notebooks from Asus working. You can only bet on Intel GPU inside CPU and your Nvidia GPU which i think mostly an Optimus GPU doesn't work in OSX.

I've seen your files and found that your dsdt doesn't look good. So, i suggest you to exact your DSDT from either windows (or) linux according to my DSDT/SSDT patch request thread and patch properly again. Also try the new version 3.3 i've uploaded today and let me know.
