uuufo
Dang, I have been trying so hard to get this done myself. Have spent days learning about patching AppleHDA with no luck. Is there anyone who can help me? I have a Samsung Laptop with ALC269VC. I've attached my files. I'm running 10.9.2. Thanks! edit: Forgot to mention, if I use the kext and DSDT edit here: ALC269 VC2 HD 2.1 WITH the included IOAudioFamily.kext, I get sound from headphone jack, but not from internal speakers. Without IOAudioFamily I get no device found. I've even added my own configdata to this kext with same results. codec_dump.zip
EMlyDinEsH
Try this and send me know your system log/ioreg if you have problems. Use the layout 28 DSDT patch. AppleHDA_Patched__ALC269_2.1.zip

uuufo
Try this and send me know your system log/ioreg if you have problems. Use the layout 28 DSDT patch. Thanks for responding! With this one, also required me to install IOAudioFamily.kext, and now in system preferences it shows "Headphones" all the time, instead of only when headphones are plugged in like before. I am able to get sound from headphones when they are plugged in, but not internal speakers at all. Attached are the files you requested. Also, thanks for your Elan trackpad kext, its working great on this machine system.zip uuufo-ioreg.ioreg.zip

ericw12
Followed both HDA and HDMI guide, and got sound working, and HDMI and VGA out working. Both the HDMI audio does not working. For AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext, I have to switch the line of VGA and HDMI and get both working like the following: 06 02 00 00 00 01 00 00 09 00 00 00 02 05 00 00 00 08 00 00 06 00 00 00 In Mavericks' sound pref, there is no HDMI audio output device. In Linux, I have another codec3, which I dumped, and it is all about HDMI audio, and I don' t think the guide talked about that at all. Any suggestion please?
