Hello friends,

I have managed to fix quite a lot of things but can anyone help me fix this one single issue?
Headphones and mic are working through combo mic but, when i unplug and replug the headset only headphones are detected barring the Mic.

I have added EAPD nodes in verbs and also have installed Codec Commander.

Can anyone help me in getting this detection issue fixed?

Maybe one can tell me how to over ride auto switching of internal/external mic coz i never use internal mic anyways.

Regards

Hello,

I have an asus Z97-p motherboard, ALC891 codec, clover bootloader, no other mods.

I followed the instructions up to getting the device pathmaps but got stuck at the input device pathmaps.

if anyone has any guidance, i have attached my codec from ubuntu linux  and a document that shows my work step by step.

Thanks for any help :)

Its not bad if you use working AppleHDA, i know mirone patcher contains this ALC892 with it you have to fix non working ports

Node 14 = speaker

Node 1b = headphone

Node 18 = internal Mic

Node 19 = external Mic

Node 1a = line in Rear

Node 15 and 16 show as line out device but if they are disabled then not required..

This is from above you posted whole codec_dump is required for better help

PS: Now unable to get codec_dump, can you upload it so i can look into it??

Realtek ALC892 AppleHDA .zip

Use Layout_ID=13 for AppleHDA
PS: you haven't mentioned OSX version , so i assume 10.11.5 and above attached Patched AppleHDA for your system

GoodLuck :)
