peekstar
Still no joy. My ethernet was EN0 and wifi EN1 but I deleted all network device in network prefpane anyway. Applied changes. Added ethernet. Applied changes. Added WiFi. Applied changes. Made sure ethernet was first in service order. Still get the "Your Apple ID xxxxx can't be used to set up iMessage at this time. Contact support". Frustrating as I had this working on MountainLion(I think I used chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) then though which I may try again even though I would rather not!). peekstar
Finally, iMessage is signing in! I had tried 2.5.4d before and I'm now running it again. I also downgraded FileNVRAM.dylib to v1.1.2. Went through the process of removing all network interfaces from network prefpane. I noticed that even though BlueTooth DUN was not listed, it still showed in the service order. So I added BT DUN and then removed it again. Now it doesn't show it service order. Deleted networkinterfaces.plist from Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration. Reboot. Add ethernet back in network prefpane as EN0. Then, on my iPhone, changed my AppleID password and added a card for payment. Signed back into iMessage, Facetime, iCloud, AppStore etc on iPhone first. Then sign into iCloud, iMessage, Facetime, AppStore etc on hackintosh. It now logs in but I haven't managed to test it yet. Hopefully it'll be OK. Thanks for all your help guys. Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 7, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2014 ahh... yeah chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) does that. chameleon boot loader does not have that issue.
peekstar
ahh... yeah chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) does that. chameleon boot loader does not have that issue. But chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) has been nowhere near this installation! I have only used chameleon...... I've also now rolled AppleIntelE1000e back to v2.0.0a as the latest version still had issues for me. Will continue to test this version to see if it is any better for me. peekstar
OK, had some time to test iMessage and the rolled back network kext. And I'm happy to report that everything is working nicely for me now! So v2.0.0a has fixed my ethernet in that it doesn't sit around 'resolving host' anymore when I'm viewing webpages. Thanks for all the input Next up, clone my disk and try the update to 10.9.2(in a few days probably) Cheers

Have already got this, will patch it for external mic(if not already done) and try it when I get around to upgrading to 10.9.2. Cheers
