Daniel
Thank you, but unfortunately it did not work: ( I tried also to replace the IO80211Family version 10.6.7 but it does not work, my wifi does not work. Try to run the 10.6.8 combo update again!
manasota
Does anyone use their D620 with a docking station? Do you have it working with 10.6.8 or 10.7 ? I can't get mine to work. As soon as it boots (the boot-up screen is fine) the display goes black on a Dell monitor. I suspect it has something to do with the lid being closed and the sleep function? I can't get past 10.6.2 which works fine.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted November 19, 2011 Administrators Share Posted November 19, 2011 then that means that whichever kexts you need to support it is in the 10.6.2.. i have no clue though what they would be.... so you would have to think what does the docking station have..... usb, video, pcibuss then use a system info app that shows your hardware info docked and un docked and see whitch kexts get loaded for the different hardware... then strip a copy from s/l/e 10.6.2 and try em on a cloned partition thats upgraded to what you want to be at.
