-> 'based on AR9565 chip if would seem (PCI ids 168c:0036) and, afaik, that is not supported under OS X. You can try and experiment of course and let us know how you get on. If you were to succeed, please feed back to update our list of supported/unsupported wireless cards. Take your eventual research in the R&D forum subsection, not in this Dell laptop thread where it'll get lost.

 

I advise you to replace that card by a supported model or use a supported USB dongle.

dude...ur awesome...ur really awesome...thank u a lott....ur dsdt fixed everything....now the only problem is with wifi 

I didn't post any DSDT, only the config.plist. The DSDT you uploaded is unpatched and won't be very useful. If you want me to help patch it, please upload everything in EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin. If it's empty, then to populate it, you need to reboot to Clover menu, hit F4, then boot back to OS X, origin folder should be populated then.

 

By the way, I don't think your wireless is supported. 1705 is not, but 1702 is, you should try as Hervé advice.

additional patching might be require for audio, but this should get you HDMI video capability.

I have tried the above but with no luck. do you think i should also change the SMBios or something here is what i have in my config.plist from clover

Your config file is corrupted/ not configured correctly. Here's the fix file, no need to change SMBios.

Rename file to config.plist and replace the existing.

i did replace it and i still cannot get my hdmi video to work any chance you could patch my kexts maybe?

No need to patch kexts manually since you are using Clover with on-the fly patching. Try this config.

I noticed you have a SSDT-2 renamed from ssdt-8? where did that come from, it's not in your origin folder

the ssdt-2 came from ssdt-8 from the initial Yosemite installation 10.10 after updating to 10.10.4 i did not have it there anymore.i am uploading the ssdt dump from 10.10 installation.DSDT.zip

 

i have tried the new config.plist however i have the 4 mb graphics issue now and no kexts loaded for the graphics.

 

 

i have done this patching after updating to 10.10.4 could that have messed things up?

  1- Editing the info.plist.

 

               1- To Obtain total Qe/Ci in IntelHD4400 these 3 Kexts need to be loaded, they are:

                   

                     1-AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext.

                     2-AppleIntelFramebufferAzul. kext.

                     3-AppleGraphicsPowerManagement. kext (AGPM).

                

               to make this possible we edit the info.plist file of two of them (AppleIntelHD5000Graphics. kext and AppleIntelFramebufferAzul. kext.)

               entered our Vendor_id and device_id, which in this case is: 0x0a168086.

 

              Click on the kext AppleIntelHD5000Graphics. kext with the mouse right  button select Show content then go to:        

              contents/info.plist/IOKitPersonalities/IOPCIPrimaryMatch and replace 0x04128086 by 0x0a168086.

 

              Click on the kext AppleIntelFramebufferAzul. kext. with the mouse right  button select Show content then go to:  

              contents/info.plist/IOKitPersonalities/AppleIntelFramebufferController/IOPCIPrimaryMatch and replace 0x04128086 by 0x0a168086.

 

         2- Editing the files release binaries.

 

              1- We need to edit the binaries of AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext

                  and AppleIntelFramebufferAzul kext, use Hex Fiend  and proceed as follows:

 

              Click on the kext AppleIntelHD5000Graphics. kext with the mouse right  button select Show content then go to:        

              contents/MacOS/AppleIntelHD5000Graphics, and open the file with Hex Fiend and proceed as follows:

               

                   Find: 86801204

                   Replace: 8680160a

  

             Click on the kext AppleIntelFramebufferAzul.kext with the mouse right  button select Show content then go to:        

             contents/MacOS/AppleIntelFramebufferAzul, and open the file with Hex Fiend and proceed as follows:

 

                    Find: 86801204

                    Replace: 8680160a

If you have follow the guide to edit the kexts, then you have to either undo them or restore the vanilla kexts. That should fix your graphics issue as the config has done that modding for you.
