biscate
My ALPS V8 works pretty well with this kext version on Catalina. Note: I'm using Karabiner Elements for keyboard specific configurations. VoodooPS2Controller-R6B10fixed.kext.zip

biscate
No. Does your USB configuration is correctly set? If your trackpad works previously and loses after sleep, it may be a USB configuration issue.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 5, 2020 Moderators Share Posted May 5, 2020 @ahalol Depending on which version you're using, it might not have the sleep/wake fix. The version known to work after sleep is R6 found on the 1st page
ahalol
@biscate, I think my USB is fine. Upon running" show log | grep ALPS", all I have is error. @Jake Lo, Tried all of them only one worked is the R6B10Fixed. All others, including one from Bronxteck won't register touchpad at all. I took source code and tried to compile myself, only to result even worse. My version fails both touchpad and keyboard.
gazzmanzx6
ALPS: Found a V8 TouchPad with ID: E7=0x73 0x03 0x28, EC=0x73 0x01 0x13 Well after trying every version of VoodooPS2Controller I could find the only one that seems to work is the R6B10Fixed version. The only problem I have is the pointer speed is very slow. I've set the trackpad speed in System Preferences to its maximum. Is there a setting in the Info.plist that increases this speed? [Edit] OK, so I've found that I needed to set both DivisorX & DivisorY to be 2 to get a decent pointer speed.

gazzmanzx6
Doesn't work for me. Trackpad is unresponsive. Also found that the R6B10Fixed version has disabled the right trackpad button.
