  1. Looks like I placed the wrong kernel limit for the AirportItlwm_Monterey.kext Fixed that, added patch for SD card reader, fix Powermanagement. Give this a try. replace Config and SSDT. Put AirportItlwm_Monterey.kext back in kexts folder Post new IOReg file after the update Archive.zip

  2. Hmm, might want to use latest Clover release r5150 by now. I never updated my guide since it was 1st published for Big Sur initial release back in 2020... I had been running with r513x for yonks before updating to r5141 some time ago. Very recently replaced my Big Sur build by Monterey 12.6.2 with r5150 (applied basic OCLP root patch for HD4000 graphics). Would have to try out Big Sur installation again on the basis that current package (at time of writing) will indeed be version 11.7.2. Points to note: make sure you update Lilu & PlugIns (AppleALC, WhateverGreen, etc.) to latest versions. good old FakePCIID + FakePCIID_XHCIMux kexts for USB2.0/USB3.0 multiplexing will be Ok up to Big Sur but need replacing by this version for Monterey. Bear with me and I'll post something soon but if you can't wait, update your setup according to the above.

  3. it's in the config file for the kext. Reason for the limit is to prevent it to load for any other MacOS other than Monterey. There's a difference version for different MacOS. Ok. I'll check the SSDT again to see why PM and PNLF is not working. Try replacing with this SSDT Post new IOReg file SSDT-L570.aml.zip

  5. Your deviceID is incorrect, should be 16160000 or just leave it out. Here, make a couple of changes to your config file Added sdcard reader kext, change alcid to 10 and commented out deviceID Remove IntelMausi and another network kext, not part of your hardware Replace your config and add the 2 kexts to the Kexts folder Envy.zip

  6. Are the system running on 2 separate disks or partition? If separate disks you can have an EFI partition per disk. Only thing is you'll need to hit F12 at boot so you can select the different EFI to boot from and then select the MacOS version. You probably can add each to the Boot option in the BIOS and give it a customized name. According to the title, you're running from 1 disk, you can boot with the same EFI set for Ventura, should be backward compatible.

  7. Please add your system's specs in signature. Looks like your settings are correct: SMBIOS MacBookPro12,1 BDW framebuffer layout if 0x16260006 Re: EDID, as I said, you need to look it up on the web. Extract it with tools/apps such as Monitor Asset Manager, then inject it by adding the following property to the graphics settings of your bootloader's config: AAPL00,override-no-connect <XXXXXXXXX> DATA where <XXXXXXXX> is your 20bytes (or so) EDID info in one long consecutive hexadecimal string. See the WhateverGreen user manual. PS: Thanks for the donation offer. You can do this off the main page, there's a button for it.

  8. Generally speaking, generic/3rd party batteries tend to be utter crap and often seriously decline after only a few months. I guess you'll see soon enough. Not that many things you can do to optimise battery; you've already enabled low power mode but who knows if it's of any use on a Hack. Other possible actions to consider: reduce screen brightness adjust screen saver & sleep/hibernate settings revise CPU power settings (tuned CPUFriend kexts vs. native kernel CPU power management or vice versa) disable turbo boost on battery use SSD instead of mechanical HDD Battery settings may also differ according to SMBIOS/Mac model. That's about it...

  9. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/12ivXsDA3CBbDcEjLt8FtgO3Q-nTkVeUe?usp=sharing test this EFI ioreg if start . I'm doing tests, mixing between drivers, kext and SSDT for TB3, some tests will be needed. Usually the Type C ports of the TB3 work, let's see if we can get this result.
