E6230 Upgrade to Mojave - Has Anyone Had Success?
Jake Lo replied to Edtlogin's topic in The Archive
Try the, replace into /EFI/Clover E6230_Mojave.zip -
Do you have a vanilla AppleHDA.kext in /S/L/E?
-
Your Clover is a mess, too much unnecessary kexts, and I don't think you have discrete graphics, only HD520. Try this bootpack, replace into /EFI/Clover....REPLACE With my files, the touchpad will work, but only as a regular mouse with 2 fingers scrolling. E7x70_Mojave.zip

@TheOtherOne Yes, please post your bootpack in E6540, I think another member needs help with Mojave as well. -
e7240 [SOLVED] E7240 HS / Mojave no audio output device
Jake Lo replied to sykojgee's topic in The Archive
@Andy Gibson I see you have layout-id 12 in DSDT and you have AppleALC + Lilu. Why don't you change layout-id in Config to 12 or just leave it blank. Remove AppleHDA_ALC292.kext from /L/E Disable/Remove the AppleHDA hot patches in Config Repair permissions and rebuild cache -
One more time. Replace files with this https://osxlatitude.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=20045

Try adding this into Clover kext/Other SATA-200-series-unsupported.kext.zip

e7240 [SOLVED] E7240 HS / Mojave no audio output device
Jake Lo replied to sykojgee's topic in The Archive
Yes, replace with this one if it's not working Use layout-id 1 -
Does your system have dual graphics? It doesn't look like it does, not sure why you have SSDT-DisableDGPU.aml in the patched folder. Try my file, replace the contents into /EFI/Clover https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/10980-solved-e7450-clover-usb-installer-black-screen/?do=findComment&comment=85103

e7240 [SOLVED] E7240 HS / Mojave no audio output device
Jake Lo replied to sykojgee's topic in The Archive
If you're using AppleHDA_ALC292 with hotpatches, you need to use layout-id 1 Layout-id 12 if you're using Lilu.kext + AppleALC.kext. without hot patches. In both options, you'll need the vanilla AppleHDA.kext in /S/L/E. -
Post debug file

Remove VoodooI2CHID.kext + VoodooI2C.kext from Clover kext/Other for now Can add it back after install
-
Give this a try. Replace into /EFI/Clover 7577_Mojave.zip
-
Did you copy the kexts in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other/LE into /Library/Extension Repair permissions and rebuild cache?
-
Boot to Clover, press F4 and then F2. Continue onto OSX and then attach this debug file I think you got the CPU info wrong, should be i5-8250u
-
Sorry, I think I left out SSDT-ALC256.aml. You have it in your original bootpack. Re-add to patched folder. Make sure you also have CodecCommander in /L/E Then test the different layout-id 11, 13 ,56
-
Does it even work on High Sierra? Sure you can give it a try, won't hurt.
-
Yes, my aim was to get it install 1st and then work on the details later. try layout-id 11 HDMI audio working? Sleep / wake with no issue? I see you added the EDID back, is it still necessary? Try using the patcher to create USB port kext and you can then remove the USBInjectAll + Config patch
-
give this a try, replace into /EFI/Clover Make sure when you install Clover, you included ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi under drivers64UEFI 5568_Mojave.zip
-
Please post in E7xxx section. This section is for dev & beta version only

Follow the Clover settings from here

No, takes 2 -3 reboots, roughly 40 mins...could be the APFS format conversion.
