  1. Yes, should work on High Sierra too. Can you attach IOReg?
  2. I believe it's ALC256. Run dxdiag.exe in Windows, then search the text for audio. Should be apparent what it is. Any issue with keyboard and touchpad?
  3. I can't determine what Bluetooth you have, is it an Intel?
  4. Can you boot to Clover. Hit F4. Boot to OSX, compress and attach the Clover folder here for review I see you're using NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 rather than the native HD4000. Try this kext https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/guide-hdmi-audio.1499797/
  5. Ok, get rid of AppleALC.kext in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other Replace Config file and add AppleHDA_ALC292.kext to /Library/Extensions Repair permission and rebuild cache config-fixAudio.zip
  6. No need of bootable USB to flash BIOS or Windows You could either place the exe in the /EFI directory or on any USB drive Select F12 at boot, Select BIOS Flash Update At the Dialogue box, browse to the location of the .exe Begin Flash Update. Done Anyway, updated BIOS and set BIOS settings as you mentioned didn't make a difference.

  16. Don't need SSDT.aml, it's really for laptops only. But SMBios, you should be able to with latest Clover Configurator. To boot from SSD, you 1st need to install Clover to the SSD drive and then copy the EFI folder from your USB partition over to the SSD EFI partition.
  17. No, that's to re-enable audio after wake from sleep (EAPD issue)
  18. @quartz38 Try replacing contents to /EFI/Clover with the attached. Files patched from your Origin folder Remove IntelGraphicsFixup.kext from /L/E or /S/L/E. Already exist in EFI/C/k/Other 5580_quartz38.zip
  19. Yes, if I cranked the rear to the highest, it's not as loud as the highest in the front jack but not complain, just a note.
  20. No, UEFI & HFS+ After install, run diskutil list or diskutil cs list. If core storage is found, revert it as stated in link
  21. Confirmed! Layout-ID 13 enables audio jack on the back, but you have to manually select it (Line Out). Note: The audio on the back is not as loud as the front headphone jack (Headphones).
  22. Now I'm curious in how are you able to accomplish the wake issue on High Sierra. Please share you Clover folder... Which version of BIOS? What settings do you have in the BIOS? Which version of HS are you running? Security updates? Are you using different video card? What monitor do you have connected?
  23. when you're at the Clover menu, hit the spacebar. Select verbose and debug 0x100 mode, then continue to boot with selected option. this will stop at the KP when encountered.
  24. Update ACPIBatteryManager.kext to the latest 1.81.4 and add this to boot arg abm_firstpolldelay=16000
