There's probably a lot of other good apps out there that you could use, but personally I use PartedMagic. In it, there's an application call Secure Erase, that's what I use to wipe my SSD drive completely. I had used DiskWarrior.app, that had saved my system a few times when you encounter this error. "File System Check Exit Code 8" Both are paid apps but you can find free apps with google if you look hard enough. -
F4 will silently extract the raw DSDT/SSDT to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin, usually within a second. Did you compress the folder first? Click on the FAQ on my signature for instruction to attach file(s).
-
What version of BIOS are you on? Attach your Clover folder with the Origin folder untouched. I'll patch the files for you. Include information like HDMI, DisplayPort, yes or no if you want those things fix. Post screenshots of DPCIManager of Status and PCIList Post IOReg as well. Compress all and attach it here. See FAQ in my signature file if you're uncertain how to do that.

what version of BIOS are you on? Do you have UEFI and AHCI enabled in the BIOS? Boot to Clover GUI, hit the F4 key on the keyboard. Compress and attach the Clover folder here for review

If you had been patching your own DSDT recently, you most likely encountered this common error dialogue when clicking on the 1st 2 errors, they'll take you to these set of codes To fix the errors, I created this patch which you can just apply with latest version of MacIASL This will fix all 3 errors listed above. Enjoy!

Yes, you should generate SSDT for power management. Those 2 CPU SSDT is the cause of your KP. By removing them, it prevents KP.

So with HS, you got graphics working but won't shut down? But it'll shutdown if you don't have graphics working like in El Capitan? Have you tried disabling Inject ATI and see if shutdown works?

[Dell Latitude E5420] macOS Installer Not Showing Up In Clover
Jake Lo replied to hmstith's topic in The Archive
Do you have AHCI enabled in BIOS? You mentioned working on UEFI mode. Can you go to Boot Option and add a new boot option, create any name and browse to /EFI/Clover/Cloverx64.efi? If it hangs there when you do that, than you can use UEFI, go with Legacy. -
Does sleep / wake work? Try switching FB Name to Ipomoea instead of Hoolock
-
Then place those contents inside /EFI/Clover The AppleHDA_ALC280.kext should go into /Library/Extensions on the installed drive as a post installation, not for the installer Repair permission and rebuild cache

You're missing the DSDT.aml in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched since you're enabling DropOEM SSDT. -

attach your Clover folder for review -
You can create a Clover boot partition on a spare USB drive, use bootpack from here. See if you could boot from it and select your Maverick OS. If it boots, then you could use Appstore to upgrade. You'll need to install Clover onto the drive and copy the bootpack over from the USB partition. Or you could create a new Clover Installer and install over as Hervé suggested. Note: Install over the existing drive, DO NOT format the drive otherwise you'll lose everything.

Follow instructions from here to debug issue

1) You'll need to remove the wifi whitelisting before you could replace the wifi card with a DW1560 or DW1830, unless you could find one that's Lenovo branded. 2) Try adding EDID to fix the reboot issue upon wake from sleep Note :- HDMI Audio in control via the HDMI display / TV, not from the Mac.
