  1. Attach your Clover folder from the EFI partition for verification. What's the display resolution? What version of BIOS are you on?
  2. Does your system have only HD4000 or with NVS5200m?
  3. 1) Yes, place in /Library/Extensions and repair premission and rebuild cache 2) No, must be generated with SSDTPrGen.sh.
  4. There's a work in progress here. Mostly basic movement...
  5. See if new Sierra bootpack works for you. You'll need to generate new SSDT, can't use SSDT from another system with different CPU. See the readme.txt in ACPI/Patched folder for link
  6. What exactly are the issues you're facing? I see you have a patched DSDT already. What version of BIOS are you running?
  7. Intel Wireless card are not supported and won't run on OS X.
  8. Boot to Clover, hit F4, then continue booting to OS X. Compress and attach your Clover folder here, I'll assist with the patching.
  9. You could check this link for example of Kabylake hacking. We were able to get full QE/CI with FakeID of Skylake ig-platform-id of HD520. Yours might be using ig-platform-id of HD530. HDMI audio was not working with fake HD 520 so far, but at least internal audio is working. Update: HDMI audio works now!
  10. Where did you get this version? Please provide link
  11. Check Graphics/Display under System Information, does it only show HD 5500? Just want to confirm if the 920M was disabled by the patch.
  12. What version of BIOS? Try replacing with these tito480.zip
  13. See if this helps. Seem it's not able to initialize. I have the same issue on my E7470, but not E7450. So I repatch my DSDT/SSDT with the card installed. But it still didn't work until I change Smbios to a Haswell definition and it started to work. Then I changed it back to Skylake smbios and it still works. Go figure...
  14. Could be a bios version thing. What version of BIOS are you running? Actually looking at your file, it's already been patched. Where did you get this file or what patch did you applied to it? Update: Looks like you downloaded and using the wrong bootpack 5548_HD5500_Only instead of 5558_HD5500_Only Since your system has a discrete card, it will need to be using different patches. Boot to Clover, hit F4, then compress and attach the /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin folder here, I'll patch them for you.
  15. Are you sure you don't have an Inspiron 5548 instead? All the 5558 I helped patch does not have these values over 8 under EmbeddedControl This will need a Battery patch. I'll attempt to create one for you. Will take a bit of time to go through it.
  16. I don't think this model need a battery batch to work. Attach your DSDT and I'll take a look.
  17. used the updated ssdtPRGen.sh from https://github.com/P...ha/ssdtPRGen.sh
  18. Instead of using the DVMT patch, you should change it in the BIOS. See my E7450 guide under pre-requisites.
  19. As far as I know IDT does not have the EAPD sleep issue as Realtek ALC does.
  20. @hectorox Did you read the 1st post and experiment with settings: FixType and other settings
  21. You'll need to determine what codec ID your system have. To check, see here, Chapter 1, section1 Get the dump of your audio codec from linux. So, get into any of the Linux distributions of either Live USB/CD (or) Full install. And enter the following command in terminal to get the dump in text format at Desktop. cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 > ~/Desktop/codec_dump.txt (or) cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#1 > ~/Desktop/codec_dump.txt (or) cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#2 > ~/Desktop/codec_dump.txt (or) cat /proc/asound/card1/codec#0 > ~/Desktop/codec_dump.txt
