  1. You need to determine what make is your touchpad...Alps, Synaptics, or Elantouch to name a few. Use kext from these developers: Alps = Dr. Hurt's Synaptics = Dinesh's or Rehabman's Elantouch = Dinesh's
  2. Run commands to repair permission and rebuild cache again. Post the output after the commands finishes
  3. Audio kext doesn't work that way by simply adding VENDID and PRODID. If you were using all the files and follow all the steps from Hervé's guide, you should have audio. Make sure when you ran the permission fix and rebuild cache commands, that you have a successful output. If you encounter error 77, rerun the commands again.
  4. Make sure BIOS has AHCI enabled and HFSplus.efi in /EFI/Clover/Drivers64UEFI. Try resetting BIOS to load Default, apply and then set the correct settings again.
  5. Intel 520? Are we still working on the E5420 or a Skylake system?
  6. The attachment in post #3 has 2 clover folder r3556 and r3949. Your KP is due to the old voodoops2Controller issue. Go with r3949 which has the newer kext R6B6.
  7. Remove all the SSDT/DSDT in EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched, set the Config file to un select DropOEM under SSDT, reboot. At the Clover screen, hit F4. Continue to boot to OS X. Compress and attach /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin folder here. I'll help you patch the new files. Also what version of BIOS you are currently running?
  8. No, apparently that doesn't indicate what's truly in the BIOS as FireWolf first declare. Better to check to confirm
  9. No You'll need to set the DVMT though. See here under prerequisites
  10. Enable Bios downgrade in the BIOS. Updating BIOS should not disable your ethernet or wifi. Try disabling Legacy Option ROM
  11. Did you copy kexts in /EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other/LE to /Library/Extensions and run the permission fix and rebuild cache? Make sure the terminal output after running the commands are successful. Error 77 is not successful and will need to re-run the commands again until you get error 17. Then reboot your system.
  12. Did you set the DVMT? Did you set the BIOS to UEFI? Try updating the Clover loader, latest version.
  13. Inside the folder /Extra/Extensions is a folder call copy_to_SLE. Copy the kexts AppleHDA and CodecCommander to /System/Library/Extensions overwriting the original. Make a backup first if you like. Then repair permission and rebuild cache as stated in the guide.
  14. You set you external monitor as the primary instead of being extended. When booted with HDMI, with the screen black, have you tried selecting Fn+Insert a couple of times? This will increase the brightness. Fn+F3 will decrease.
  15. What's the drive name you gave when you format the drive? Select that.
  16. Disable the BootGlitch patch, 10.11.x patch causes KP on Sierra. Or you can update it to 10.12.x patch, use Clover Configuration v4.39.1 Find Boot Graphics Glitch and change it to this Under Find, change 0100007517 to 0100007525 Under Replace, change 0100007525 to 010000EB25 While you're updating the Config file, update the 10.11 - AppleHDA Patch to 10.12.x Under Find, change 8319D411 to 8A19D411
  17. Not sure which version of alps you have, but try Dr. Hurt's version 6 Beta 6
  18. You need to enable dual-Link for resolution 1600x900 and up. Attach your Config and DSDT if you need help.
  19. Boot with verbose mode so we could determine the issue. At the Clover screen, hit the spacebar. Then select verbose mode. Post screen shot here
  20. re ran the permission fix and rebuild cache fixed the issue
  21. Set to these setup_var 0x15b 0x3 setup_var 0x15c 0x3 Boot with verbose mode to see where it's hanging. Make sure in the Config.plist that 'Disabled MinStoleSize..." patch is disabled.
