[solved] Latitude 5400: LCD brightness, DP and HDMI not working
Jake Lo replied to ryuu_nami's topic in The Archive
Yes if you know and willing to unlock the CFG Lock, give that a try. -
Give this a try. Config is modified from the one you attached above. Just add the SSDT* and kext to the appropriate folders, and replace the Config No, the Alps touchpad has very limited support. E5470_FnKeys.zip

to clear the NVRam in OC, at the OC Picker, I have it hidden. Just press spacebar to see the option. If you want to disable this feature, just change HideAuxiliary=NO under Boot

https://dortania.github.io/hackintosh/updates/2021/03/01/acidanthera-march.html Even though Dortania stated it's working, seems it's not UPDATE: With macOS 11.3 Beta 3(20E5196f), XhciPortLimit is now working correctly. You can easily install and update macOS with this quirk enabled. Try disabling the quirk(under Kernel )and see if it works.

Did you ever generated USBPorts.kext with Hackintool prior or have always been using USBInjectall.kext? I think the port limits patch might not be working anymore in 11.3. It's a temporary solution to get system up and running. You might have to use and older OS to generate it now unless there's a new update patch for it.

I got 3541 on Mojave and 3809 for Big Sur. I don't have Catalina anymore on this system.

E7270: need OC EFI with support for Intel wifi + bluetooth
Jake Lo replied to gorohov's topic in The Archive
I don't use Opencore configurator nor ProperTree, but PlistEdit Pro. I include some kexts that ProperTree might automatically enabled. Check to see if SMCDellSensor/ApplePS2Controller are enabled. If it is, disabled it or remove it from kexts folder -

You can try Olarila -
@olm3ca Looking at your Config file, if you're using 00009B3E, make sure you set device ID = 9B3E0000 (fakeID) I searched what others use to get acceleration with the same CPU. I've seen other have also use AAPL,ig-platform-id =0000A53E device-id = A53E0000 Macbookpro15,2 or MacbookAir9,1

Ok, this new IOReg showed that AMD is now disabled. Does slider work if you manually slide it from preference? Have you tried it after waking from sleep. Some has stated that brightness won't work until after a wake on similar Skylake system.

what did you uncheck? If the trackpad does not work, try Rehabman's VoodooPS2Controller instead. Can't help much with your Bluetooth. Maybe wait for new updates on those kexts or replace the whole device with a supported card. -
[solved] Latitude 5400: LCD brightness, DP and HDMI not working
Jake Lo replied to ryuu_nami's topic in The Archive
after the DVMT is set, you might need to disable these in the Config file, just place # in front to disable framebuffer-fbmem framebuffer-stolenmem. and maybe -cdfon in boot arg -

Go ahead and disable AirportItlwm.kext temporarily until installation is complete. Enable it once you have a running OS. -

I have a guide for that here to find the value. Yes it can be risky, it's been known to have brick some but I have yet to encounter for any of the systems I had hacked personally from Broadwell up to Skylake. E7450, E7270, E7470, Precision 5510, Precision 7510 and usually a BIOS reset will restore it to default. But it's up to you, I can't take any responsibility if it does for your model. You can research more if there are other ways to achieve 4k, I personally don't own any 4k display to test.
