  1. Probably just need to reboot a few times
  2. Try switching layoutid for ALC256 to 13, 14, 16, 21, or 56
  3. Post your EFI files along with IOReg file using IOregistryExplorer.app v2.1
  4. try disabling SMCDellSensors.kext. It has known to disable touchpad on some Dell system If still failed, try replacing with this kext VoodooPS2Controller-R6Bronxteck.kext.zip
  5. Make sure to use appropriate version for the version of MacOS you're running. Use either itlwm or Airportitlwm, not both at the same time. Note, if using itlwm, you need to use Heliport.app to configure the settings. If using Airportitwm, you can connect to Hidden network. I prefer to use DW1830 or DW1560 since the Intel is still not functioning at its fullest capacity.
  6. According to your last Config, you have both ApplePS2 and VoodooPS2 enabled. Pick one or the other, not both. And maybe disable SMCDellSensors.kext, seems to disable the trackpad on some system.
  7. you need to disable these in Config file, they don't exist in your kexts folder VoodooSDHC.kext VoodooPS2Controllerpatchm4800.kext + plugins
  8. that's just cosmetics and all due to the SMBIOS you're using
  9. Do you have access to DVMT in the BIOS to set the minimum requirement to 64MB? If not, you'll need to add these framebuffer-stolenmem framebuffer-fbmem framebuffer-patch-enable
  10. hmm, according to Dortania, you should use AAPL,ig-platform-id = 00001659 it's what you have but you have the numbers reversed AAPL,ig-platform-id = 00005916
  11. Wrong platform ID for a desktop, therefore no QE/CI Change to AAPL,ig-platform-id = 00001259 You can leave out device-id
  12. You also need the plugins within VoodooI2C enabled and must be in specific order
  13. I think unlike the newer version, this older version needs to disable AppleIntelLpssI2C* from loading by coolstar by adding to kernel / Block com.apple.driver.AppleIntelLpssI2C.kext & com.apple.driver.AppleIntelLpssI2CController.kext Another way is restore to the latest version and adjust the settings in the VoodooI2C info.plist // I don't know which, you'll have to play around with it Or replace VoodooI2CHID.kext with VoodooI2CSynaptics.kext I have no more idea. You could try contacting the developer himself https://gitter.im/alexandred/VoodooI2C
  14. Yes, just need the 2 kexts from his files: VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID
  15. Yeah, Intel wifi/ BT is still Beta. Switch to Broadcom or use a real card with adapter for better support
  16. yes, it's normal, you can disable the debug
  17. did you boot to Recovery Mode Disable SIP first? csrutil disable and run this in terminal after reboot from recovery mode csrutil status //to confirm if SIP is disabled sudo mount -uw / sudo killall Finder sudo spctl --master-disable //only need to be ran once cd ~/Downloads/alc_fix //assuming it's in download folder ./install
  18. Added the fixes to your Config config-E5550-FixWifi.plist.zip
  19. boot to Recovery Mode Disable SIP Boot back to MacOS Enable write access, instruction found in FAQ run the ALC_Fix command Boot back to Recovery mode Enable SIP
  20. you might want to downgrade to the version found in Hervé's 7490 guide
  21. Yes, works perfectly fine just like on Catalina or Mojave.
  22. Use satellite VoodooI2CHID only, not synaptics.
