  1. Sorry, I have the option on the E6430 BIOS version A24, so I assume it's the same on the E6230.
  2. You can check your BIOS under Power Management/Primary Battery Charge Configuration. If you have the setting set to Custom, you can have the charge stop at certain %. See if that's what you have it set to. Change it to Adaptive or whatever settings you like.
  3. Undo all the changes you added you just need to enable 'Legacy Option ROMS' in the BIOS
  4. try this config-e5540.plist.zip
  5. I just use the createinstallmedia command
  6. I've attached an EFI folder on p1 of the thread you referred to. Give that a try.
  7. Enable 'Legacy Option ROMS' in the BIOS
  8. You have it set to 1 in the boot arg under NVRam. Change it to alcid=30 should fix the audio issue. Just realized your system is a 2-in-1, your touchpad is an USB Alps or I2C? Try adding VoodooI2C.kext + VoodooI2CHID.kext
  9. You should really generate an USBPorts.kext with Hackintool.app and replace the USBInjectall.kext. This kext has not been updated for a long time and might not working in near future.
  10. You can remove IntelBluetooth* as well. What's the issue with the reader? Did you format the sdcard?
  11. Go to config and disable xhciportlimit under kernel quirk and try again to generate with Hackintool.app
  12. Copy the Microsoft folder from E6540 to the 9020 EFI
  13. Can you post an IOReg file using IORegistryExplorer.app v2.1, not 3.0? With my files, if you remove the USBPorts.kext, need to add USBInjectall.kext for replacement. Then generate your own using Hackintool.app
  14. Graphics is not loading. You'll most likely need to set DVMT. Change SMBios back to MB10,1 and ig-platform-id to 00001E59 Add attach modgrubshell.efi to drivers folder and to Config file under drivers, set it to enable Boot to OC Picker, if modgrubshell does not show, then press the spacebar. Select it to boot At the grub shell, enter these 3 commands. You should be able to boot to graphics acceleration with -igfxvesa Setup_var 0x795 0x2 Setup_var 0x4ed 0x0 reboot
  15. What model is the NVMe? Certain ones are not supported, see a list in Dortania's guide.
  16. Give this a try Replace Config, add the new kext and SSDT to the appropriate directory and see The fingerprint will never work Not much you can do with Alps touchpad, just some basic functions E6440_fixes.zip
  17. post your file and include IOReg file using IORegistryExplorer v2.1 not 3.0
  18. I posted it on page 2 of that thread, just need to replace SSDT-PNLF.aml with the one posted on p4.
  19. add to boot arg -igfxvesa see if it boots completely
  20. Add this for Automatic Brightness adjustment. I know it added the check mark there but don't think it actually works. As for the icon showing as an iMac, it's due to your SMBIOS. Make sure you have the correct serial #.... SSDT-ALS0.aml.zip
  21. What SMBIOS are you using? Try adding -no_compat_check to boot arg or else change SMBIOS to MBP11,1
  22. I'm talking about the actual kext VoodooPS2Controller-R6Bronxteck/Contents/Plugins/VoodooPS2Trackpad/Contents/info.plist Under IOKitPersonalities
