Download and launch Chameleon Wizard, latest version is 4.4.1. Click on org.chameleon.boot.plist tab. There on the right, you'll see the option to check kext-dev-mode=1
-
make sure you have kext-dev-mode=1 enabled.
-
Try new yosemite bootpack here.
-
Clover patch it on the fly
-
Current myHack/myfix I believe is not Yosemite ready. Delete /System/Library/Extensions/myHack.kext Install the updated kext linked above to S/L/E with kextwizard.
-
Did you replace the DSDT with the one from Updates below my guide?
-
Ok, try this one adrian.aml.zip
-
@adriandb, can you send me a raw DSDT for your system? Boot with DSDT=0, then extract DSDT with MACIasl or ChameleonWizard.
-
Can you confirm you don't have a Discrete display Nvidia nvs5200m too?
-
Right. I was testing it on an i7-4600u
-
Try this dsdt.aml.zip
-
8, 21, 27, 28, 29, 30 I'll give MBP 11.1 a try Update: with 11.1, I get 8, 14, 21, 27, 28, 30
-
Install this for sound and this for usb 3.0.
-
Try booting from the eSata/USB combo port.
-
Nope, just follow Herve's guide and use his bootback but you'll need to generated a different SSDT as mentioned in his guide.
-
It's probably not initialized properly. Try repairing cache and permission. The FB patching actually revert it to 10.9.2. The one from your link seems to use FB from a Desktop or faking it. I can confirm patching libCLVMIGILPlugin does help with the preview. So use it if you also have the same problem.
-
No, you can install Windows 7 sp1 64bit and newer OS on GUID formatted partition.
-
Have you tried with Herve's patched DSDT above?
-
The MBR patch from myHack has some dependency issue. If you really need to build on an MBR partition, then you'll need to replace the MBR patch file. Use the version of patch for the version you're installing from here. No need to rebuild the installer. Otherwise, just use GUID and select no when you build the USB Installer.
-
Rename the dsdt.aml to dsdt.dsl.
-
Did you select MBR Patch when building the USB Installer?
-
send me your DSDT. Must be missing something.
-
SLE or EE would both work. Check to see if it's disabled in the BIOS.
-
Here you go, same version for 10.9.4 and 10.9.5 is you plan to upgrade. AppleSDXC.kext.zip
-
Start with Herve's guide. Very close to your model. Only thing I could think of is you might have a broadcom ethernet card. We could determine that later or you could list your system specs. CPU: GPU: Display resolution: etc...
