  1. Bootpack is available here for Yosemite, just keep your DSDT and SSDT.
  2. VGA won't work, make sure to use the bottom DP port and not the top.
  3. Did you set the BIOS as suggested? What type of video connection are you using? DisplayPort to DVI? DisplayPort to DisplayPort? Make sure to use the bottom DP port during install.
  4. As stated in the guide, place the folder in /System/Library so it'll look like this /System/Library/Kernels/kernel
  5. If you find that Clover is hard to understand, you can try my guide here. Bootpack ( kexts and DSDT) are available on post # 5. Remember the Optiplex 9020 has an Haswell processor that causes early reboot. So make sure to use the Haswell Kernel atttached in the guide below.
  6. Yes, it has to be on during startup. If you switch it off while it's on, it won't reconnect until you reboot.
  7. What I do is switch back and forth depending on your needs. Have both DSDT in the /Extra folder. Use the HD4000 if you're mobile and Nvidia when you need to use external display.
  8. Yes, NVS 5200m is recognized with 1gb vram, while the HD 4000 with 512mb. You can customized it to 1gb, but I have not tried it. For sleep you have to disable the nvidia card, but you'll lose external display capability. For external HDMI connection, you'll need to use the nvidia card. What I do is have both DSDT's available. If want to use the HDMI connection, go to BIOS to disable Optimus and boot with correct DSDT from the chameleon command line. I default o.c.b.p to the HD4000 display.
  9. krustal, His system only has the HD 4000, no discrete card nvs 5200. Your system, the HDMI are linked to the nvs5200 card. So with Optimus enabled, nvs5200 disabled, all external display are disabled. If you want to use external display like HDMI video, you'll need to disable Optimus and use the nvidia card.
  10. HDMI monitor works. VGA is not supported after Mountain Lion.
  11. You need to patch the Kernel for early reboot. #1
  12. Try the kexts and dsdt here. I don't use Clover, but the files are the same just need to be place in different directory.
  13. have you tested HDMI audio?
  14. Herve is right. Check on the right side for the wifi switch. Slide it so it won't show red. If it's red, it's OFF.
  15. This will enable audio and HDMI audio. Remove voodoohda and AppleHDADisabler. E5420_hdmi.zip
  16. Ok, found your issue. Remove PciRoot=1 in o.c.b.p to enable audio. Replace AppleSDXC with this one in /Extra/Extensions and run myHack/myFix (Quick). Reboot AppleSDXC.kext.zip
  17. What method did you use to install 10.9.0? What kexts do you have in /Extra/Extensions? Can you upgrade to 10.9.5?
  18. Rename it to DSDT.aml and placed it in /Extra DSDT_E5420.aml.zip
  19. Compress the file and then attach it. Azul is for HD 4400 or HD 4600 or HD 5000 Capri is for HD 4000 AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB is for HD 3000 Are you using Clover or Chameleon?
  20. Try installing new version of Chameleon Can you run lspci -nn and list the output here. Your sd card reader might have a different device-id than mine.
  21. I assume you don't have a patched DSDT working? Download MACIasl or DPCIManager and extract a raw DSDT, attach it here and I'll patch it for you. Also you'll have to put back all the graphics kexts if you want full QE/CI working. Try booting with GraphicsEnabler=Yes EnableDualLink=Yes
  22. For more speedstep, use the Haswell patched kernel and -xcpm flag. I got 4 off the bat, after waking from sleep, I'll get up to 13 steps
