  1. I see you still have the Intel Wifi card installed. Try removing it. Also what wires are you using to connect? The black and gray cables? For audio, did you read pass the Updates section? You need to add HDAEnabler to o.c.b.p.
  2. @serotizm, did you mean auto reboot when you plug in HDMI cable? Have you try the config file above?
  3. This just means your graphics card is not loaded. If you have the model with HD Graphics, you'll need to remove AppleIntelHDGraphics* from /System/Library/Extensions. You won't be able to get full graphics acceleration with this system. Boot in single user mode to remove those files.
  4. If you set it as a mac mini, you'll get external monitor through VGA, but loses the internal LCD. Is that what you want? see here under External Display (Experimental) for more info.
  5. Yes, you need the /Extra folder to the root of Macintosh SSD. It includes all the kexts you need and DSDT to enable QE/CI. You can skip 2 as the FakeSMC already patched with the correct value from my bootpack.
  6. Try this config with patch for HDMI hanging config.plist.zip
  7. You need to restore those kexts as it's needed to get full graphics acceleration. Did you copy the Extra folder to the macintosh SSD from the installer?
  8. I noticed it doesn't include the patches I added, did you test to see if HDMI audio is working?
  9. Nice guide, but why is the image of an HP and not your Dell E5440?
  10. Here you go. Added a few patches to your config and enable HDMI audio to your DSDT E5440_Clover.zip
  11. try booting without cache or to safemode
  12. Kexts in SLE folder are patched for AICPUPM, audio, Trim Enabler, and second boot screen fix. Only needed to be install to S/L/E after system is booted. I agreed ACPIBatteryManager and ApplePS2Controller are not needed, but that don't explain why he's getting "Still waiting for root device" error when BIOS is already set to AHCI and GenericUSBXHCI is added. @Julio, can you slave the drive to a Mac system and install Chameleon to the OS X partition so you don't need to boot with the USB Installer?
  13. ACPIBatteryManager goes in the kexts/10.10 folder. AppleSmartBatteryManager is not touch in SLE. I'm using that config file on an E6430 and so far Battery Status is running ok.
  14. attach your DSDT and config.plist file, I'll take a look
  15. try this config.plist. Battery status works with acpibatterymanager. config.plist.zip
  16. The bootpack for the 9020 has the GenericUSBXHCI already. Can you boot to the USB Installer, launch terminal and run this > ls /Volumes/"macintosh SSD"/Extra/Extensions
  17. Unplug any USB devices, just keeping the USB Installer, mouse and keyboard.
  18. Make sure the wireless switch is set to ON, it's on the right front side. No need to tape this card to work on the T410s.
  19. Looks like in 10.10.1 the USB installer will extract a new vanilla kernel to your new installed drive instead of copying the patched kernel. Boot with the USB Installer and use the terminal to copy the patched kernel to the Installed drive overwriting the vanilla kernel. > cp /volumes/"Install OS X Yosemite"/system/library/kernels/kernel /volumes/"macintosh SSD"/system/library/kernels/
  20. For Brightness, use Fn+F3 (numLock) and Fn+Insert (Pause) I just started to try Clover and I too can't get the Battery Status to work, only seeing an X, but works fine with Chameleon. Need to figure out what options or patches to get that going.
