  1. Yes, you need the /Extra folder to the root of Macintosh SSD. It includes all the kexts you need and DSDT to enable QE/CI. You can skip 2 as the FakeSMC already patched with the correct value from my bootpack.
  2. Try this config with patch for HDMI hanging config.plist.zip
  3. You need to restore those kexts as it's needed to get full graphics acceleration. Did you copy the Extra folder to the macintosh SSD from the installer?
  4. I noticed it doesn't include the patches I added, did you test to see if HDMI audio is working?
  5. Nice guide, but why is the image of an HP and not your Dell E5440?
  6. Here you go. Added a few patches to your config and enable HDMI audio to your DSDT E5440_Clover.zip
  7. try booting without cache or to safemode
  8. Kexts in SLE folder are patched for AICPUPM, audio, Trim Enabler, and second boot screen fix. Only needed to be install to S/L/E after system is booted. I agreed ACPIBatteryManager and ApplePS2Controller are not needed, but that don't explain why he's getting "Still waiting for root device" error when BIOS is already set to AHCI and GenericUSBXHCI is added. @Julio, can you slave the drive to a Mac system and install Chameleon to the OS X partition so you don't need to boot with the USB Installer?
  9. ACPIBatteryManager goes in the kexts/10.10 folder. AppleSmartBatteryManager is not touch in SLE. I'm using that config file on an E6430 and so far Battery Status is running ok.
  10. attach your DSDT and config.plist file, I'll take a look
  11. try this config.plist. Battery status works with acpibatterymanager. config.plist.zip
  12. The bootpack for the 9020 has the GenericUSBXHCI already. Can you boot to the USB Installer, launch terminal and run this > ls /Volumes/"macintosh SSD"/Extra/Extensions
  13. Unplug any USB devices, just keeping the USB Installer, mouse and keyboard.
  14. Make sure the wireless switch is set to ON, it's on the right front side. No need to tape this card to work on the T410s.
  15. Looks like in 10.10.1 the USB installer will extract a new vanilla kernel to your new installed drive instead of copying the patched kernel. Boot with the USB Installer and use the terminal to copy the patched kernel to the Installed drive overwriting the vanilla kernel. > cp /volumes/"Install OS X Yosemite"/system/library/kernels/kernel /volumes/"macintosh SSD"/system/library/kernels/
  16. For Brightness, use Fn+F3 (numLock) and Fn+Insert (Pause) I just started to try Clover and I too can't get the Battery Status to work, only seeing an X, but works fine with Chameleon. Need to figure out what options or patches to get that going.
  17. Well, did you install your Windows with GUID or MBR? If MBR, it's better that you install OS X to another SATA drive. I believe there's 4 sata connection, you'll just need to purchase a sata cable, there's an extra power adapter already in place. Or you could disconnect the media drive and use that cable instead. External drive will work too.
  18. Did you try the DSDT I patched for snoopers in post #126? Files are for 10.9.5 but you can get the 10.10.1 files from here.
  19. See guide here with bootpack on post #4 You need to use a patched kernel for early reboot also found in the guide.
