  1. Yes full QE/CI , and hopefully gain HDMI audio too.
  2. Try this patched FB for Yosemite. Fixes HDMI freeze.
  3. Nope, it's removable and very easy too. Just remove a few screws to remove the bottom plate and you'll see the card. http://blog.parts-people.com/2014/09/19/dell-latitude-e5440-wireless-wlan-card-removal-and-installation/
  4. Did you install an MBR formatted installer onto a GUID formatted drive?
  5. Better to get a replacement card than a dongle. Sometimes usb won't work after sleep and required unplug and replug to work again.
  6. No "kernel" is not introduced until Yosemite and it's locate in System/library/kernels/ Mavericks 10.9.5 is still using mach_kernel from the root.
  7. Sorry, I keep thinking you're installing Mavericks with myHack. Yes, myHack is not Yosemite ready. In that case, you can use some of the files from my bootpack for Yosemite. See the updates under my E7440 guide in my signature below. You can pretty much use all the kexts in /Extra/Extensions. Keep your DSDT/SSDT/smbios/org.chameleon.boot.plist files Install only the files in /Extra/Extensions/SLE to S/L/E with kextwizard. AppleHDA might not work for you, use Voodoo from Herve guide for now. Includes: Trim Enabling Power Management SD card reader USB 3.0 TurboBoost Disabler
  8. Could possibly be that you didn't run myHack/myfix to update cache and permission everytime you add/remove files from Extra/Extensions. Kexts or files are ignored if they are not in Extra/Extensions, so any files within Extra/Extensions/S.L.E are ignored.
  9. It's safe to use all the kexts from Herve's guide. It includes the voodoobattery for your battery status. Not sure why you do this "When I move S/L/E folder to root folder of my disk, graphics issue solved." to resolve graphics issue.
  10. Install the patched AppleIntelframebufferAzul from Herve's guide to the display issue. For sound in menu bar, go to preferences/sound, put a check to "show volume in menu bar". Yes Intel cards are not supported. See list of supported/unsupported in my signature below under Wireless_Devices. Here's your patched DSDT DSDT-e5440_serotizm.aml.zip
  11. See here to patch your own AppleHDA. Sometime voodoo can cause KP, but if you know the venID/DevID, you can change the info.plist in voodoohda and that will fix the issue.
  12. Boot with the USB and select you HDD. Once logged in, launch myHack and select install Chameleon. Are you installing Mavericks or Yosemite? If Yosemite, you'll need to run an extra step after installing Chameleon with myHack. Launch Chameleon Wizard and upgrade Chameleon to the latest version.
  13. Hmm, for some reason I though nv_disable=1 is for Clover. For touchpad, you could use the Alps voodoops2controller that's in Herve's guide.
  14. HVT is an automation of scripts and kexts. The scripts if select will patch the binary of the kexts to make it work in hackintosh. Kexts if selected will install it to system/library/extensions replacing the vanilla file if it existed. if you don't have AppleIntelHD4000Graphics.kext in SLE, that could be the cause of not getting full QE/CI. You need both AppleIntelHD4000Graphics.kext and AppleIntelframebufferCapri.kext to work. Your audio might not be working is because you don't have layout-id set in your DSDT. Not knowing what your audio card is and if there's a patched AppleHDA available, you could try voodoohda and AppleHDADisabler. You have a conflict in your config files. You set IntelCapriFB to 4 in your o.c.b.p but have 3 in your DSDT. If your display resolution is 1366x768, you should use the value 3.
  15. If you previously use Mavericks boot files, then you probably have an old version of AppleACPIPlatform v1.3.6 installed. Restore the vanilla file v 3.1 from Yosemite, your audio should start working.
  16. Just compress the folder before attaching.
  17. Your graphics card is not loading. Try this dart=0 PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=Yes IntelAzulFB=12 -f -v or if you have discrete Ati Graphics or Nvidia graphics dart=0 PCIRootUID=1 SkipAtiGfx=Yes SkipNvidiaGfx=Yes GraphicsEnabler=Yes IntelAzulFB=12 -f -v
  18. Download and launch Chameleon Wizard, latest version is 4.4.1. Click on org.chameleon.boot.plist tab. There on the right, you'll see the option to check kext-dev-mode=1
  19. Current myHack/myfix I believe is not Yosemite ready. Delete /System/Library/Extensions/myHack.kext Install the updated kext linked above to S/L/E with kextwizard.
  20. Did you replace the DSDT with the one from Updates below my guide?
  21. Ok, try this one adrian.aml.zip
  22. @adriandb, can you send me a raw DSDT for your system? Boot with DSDT=0, then extract DSDT with MACIasl or ChameleonWizard.
