  1. So you finally got it working? What did you do differently? BIOS or Installer issue? Touchpad and sound should work. What's the issue with touchpad? What version of Mavericks did you install? If it's 10.9.2, you need to add HDAEnabler=Yes to org.chameleon.boot.plist. Read my update on the page below the guide.
  2. Do you have smbios.plist in Extra? You can try AppleSmartBatteryManager.kext from any of my boot pack below, but you'll probably need to get a patched DSDT/SSDT to get sleep working. Try SleepEnabler and see if that works.
  3. Delete AppleHDA in S/L/E and run myfix (quick).
  4. Check here for iMessage. Sorry, don't have any info regarding your usb wireless card. Why not try DW1510 or PW934? Works OOB.
  5. You need to add HDAEnabler=Yes to the boot.plist.
  6. This is the same screenshot from previous install, are you sure it's the exact same error? When prompt to install Extra, did you select Use Generic or Use My Own and then point to the Extra on the USB drive? Did you also set the BIOS to the default?
  7. Put new file in Extra/Extension. Launch myHack.app from Applications, enter password, select myfix (quick). To add the string to org.chameleon.boot.plist, you'll need Chameleon Wizard or copy file to Desktop, edit it with textpad and copy back.
  8. You'll need both voodooHDA & AppleHDADisable for audio. Run lspci -nn and list the output here. Perhaps you don't have the right kext for you LAN.
  9. It's on page 2, it's not the latest but it'll work. You could learn to patch your own with latest Mavericks file here.
  10. trongchien, The guide and bootpack are for Mavericks, are you trying to install Mountain Lion?
  11. I get some artifacts every now and then on my E6420, but vga and HDMI works pretty good. Haven't use voodooSDHC for awhile. Any issue with after waking up from sleep?
  12. All intel Wireless is no supported in OSX, so you'll need to replace it. Click on DW1510 in my signature file below for a list of tested cards. Since you're using the myHack method, you should only use that to install/uninstall kext. Put the files in Extra/Extensions and launch myHack.app in Applications, select myfix (quick). Try voodooHDA 2.8.4, do a search within this forum, you should be able to find it. Did you get LAN working? Launch the terminal and type in "lspci -nn". You should see what devices you have on your system.

  14. Can you confirm you have the 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics and not Nvidia nvs 3100M?
  15. What method did you use to install OSX? myHack as that's what we support? or some other method? You can try voodooHDA & AppleHDADisable for audio, but not sure what device you have for LAN and WLAN.
  16. You don't need to delete any graphics files when you build the USB Installer.
  17. Intel wireless cards are not supported...ever. Head over here for a list of tested cards that are working/no working.
  18. Correct. Let us know how that goes.
  19. Did you add HDAEnabler=Yes to your boot.plist? run myhack, select myfix (quick) after replacing the file?
