  1. Again, this card works on ML if you roll back a file. See the post for the fix. Battery status should work. I remember you ran EDP, so can you list files that are in Extra/Extensions?
  2. The issue comes down to Mavericks 10.9.2 and HD 4600, but not for HD 4400. I guess perhaps your system does have HD 4600. My Optiplex with i7-4770 HD 4600 is having the same issue after upgrading from 10.9.1. I'll have to see if rolling back the drivers will help.
  3. Card works OOB, no kext needed. You might have to roll back the kext to 10.8.4 if you're using 10.8.5 as you won't be able to get connection to WPA/WPA2. Card will work on Mavericks but only can connect to WEP. Info is all on that post.
  4. Close the lid and see if it'll sleep and wake when you open. Just wait until you see blinking light before opening so not to interrupt sleep. For instant boot, install and launch Chameleon Wizard. On the org.chameleon.boot.plist tab, on left side, under Boot Flags, move the ball all the way to the left until it said quiet mode. or copy org.chameleon.boot.plist from /Extra to the Desktop. Edit it with textedit.app. Change the below and put it back in Extra replacing the old. Instant Menu Yes to Quiet Boot Yes
  5. What bootpack did you use? Have you look at this post? Make sure to set your BIOS to the default, apply and then go back to set SATA Operations to AHCI.
  6. This is your wireless card and it's not supported. You'll need to replace it. 02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller [14e4:4727] (rev 01)
  7. No. Run myfix from your system, not USB, and point to the root /. This will repair permission and cache. For nvram, download Chameleon Wizard (latest version 4.3.2), launch it. Go to the Modules tab, select FileNVRAM.dylib and apply it. Reboot your system.
  8. run command to see if it's loaded. Check Extra/Extension to see if it's there also. kextstat -l | grep 'lspcidrv'
  9. is lspcidrv.kext not loading in Extra/Extension? run myHack/myfix (quick) to repair cache. Reboot and run lspci -nn again Click on iMessage on my signature file below to link to a fix if it's not working.
  10. Create a bootable dos USB drive, look here. Download the executable BIOS file from dell. Boot from the USB and execute the file ie. dos> E6410A14
  11. Boot with your USB installer, select utilities->myHack Select Install Extra and point it to the Extra in the USB drive. Skip EDP. You have all the files you needed from the boot pack. Once booted, launch terminal and run lspci -nn. Post the output here Most likely it has an Intel Wireless that's not supported. You'll need to replace it. Click on the link on my signature that said Wireless Cards. It has all the cards that's been tested to work or not work. Anything else not working, post it here.
  12. For ML, try this. Make sure to boot with -v option so you see where it errored. Run myHack, select Install Extra and point to this file. (Extract it first) E6520_i7-2640M.zip
  13. You mentioned you used the proper bootpack, what bootpack and where did you get it from? Also, make sure to set your BIOS to the default, apply, and then set SATA Operation to AHCI.
  14. Ok, rename the DSDT in Extra. Reboot in Safemode. Run MaciASL and export a new DSDT. Let's see if it's different then mine.
  15. As long as you get QE/CI, the rest is just cosmetics. Is it booting in normal mode?
  16. With the bootpack, if I disable GraphicsEnabler, I'll get HD 5000 in profiler. If I enable GraphicsEnabler, I'll get the proper HD 4400. Both loads the same HD5000 kext.
  17. Use bootpack from my signature below for E6420. By the way, which version of OSX are you installing?
  18. boot into Safemode, launch terminal from Utilities. run myfix -t / -q then reboot
  19. without HD5000, you won't be able get QE/CI for your graphics.
  20. The graphics depends on your CPU. Yours is i7-4600u which has an HD 4400. See here http://ark.intel.com/products/76616/Intel-Core-i7-4600U-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz Try booting with GraphicsEnabler=No. or Try booting with IntelAzulFB=. Value=0=15 see here
  21. Welcome pokenguyen! You have already been helpful thus far in the Inspiron models and with Clover.
  22. Please list specs of your E6520's. Include processor ex. i7-2720QM, not just i7 Display is only HD 3000 or has optimus Nvidia 4200m? Display max resolution?
  23. You should disable bluetooth until after you have the system up and running.
  24. what error do you encountered booting in normal mode? boot with -v and post error. try to run my fix from safe mode. from terminal run myfix -t / -q. Then see if you could boot in normal mode.
  25. These are the patched file from my bootpack. Were you able to boot with the switches above?
