  1. What error are you getting? try boot with -v -f
  2. Take a look at this guide. It mentioned having to delete AppleIntelHDGraphics* from SLE and replace with the patched ones instead of putting them in Extra/Extensions.
  3. If keyboard and trackpad is not working, try with an USB keyboard and mouse.
  4. Make sure Execution Prevention is Enabled in the BIOS
  5. if you mean to boot from Hard with mavericks only, then Yes. Use Chameleon boot loader.
  6. Depends on what you have? If you have Intel Wireless, it's not supported and will need to be replace. Click on my signature under Wireless cards.
  7. Are both OS on MBR or GUID or OSX on GUID and Windows on MBR?
  8. Please list specs. Does it have nvidia or Intel graphics?
  9. I don't see an issue, they are very similar models. You might not be able to use the bios mod though. Use this one instead. Use at your own risk of course.
  10. Did the blocks exists before you change the LCD? Did it exists before you install the extra kexts I send? You could try different battery kext like voodooBattery to see if it's better for your system, remove AppleSmartBatteryManager2 first. istat shows 120 degree, is that celsius or fahrenheit? if the latter, it should be fine. Try HWMonitor.app
  11. Need to rename the ssdt-i7_2670qm.aml to SSDT.aml. It should not be hidden. Did you also remove nullcpupowermanagement.kext? If still KP, remove AppleSmartBatterymanager.kext and replace with this one. run myfix again
  12. Did your restore AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext to S/L/E? Can you also upload a screenshot?
  13. Are you sure it's not i7-2670QM? Can't find i7-2670M in Intel site Try these files. Remove NullCPUPowerManagement and run myfix (quick) Extensions.zip
  14. What processor do you have? i7-???? What else is not working with your current setup?
  15. Just got an E7440 with i7-4600u, 1920x1080 display. Boots fine with QE/CI for Intel HD 4400. Use the same files as the E7240/E7440 with i7-4300u except for the SSDT file. Only difference with ckleea is that it's not a touchscreen.
  16. Looking at your boot pack, it looks like you downloaded from it from the compatibility page. What you need to do is install and run EDP for your model here. Make sure to backup the new DSDT first, after running EDP, you will have to restore it. Running EDP will add the battery status, power management, and other fixes.
  17. Try system info here. You'll also need java for this to run.
  18. Patched your DSDT with dualLink. Rename your DSDT to dsdt.aml.old and rename this as DSDT.aml in /Extra. Maybe change you Graphics Mode to your new resolution as well. DSDT-duallink.aml.zip

    E6540

Yes, please report back regarding the headphones. The biggest hurdle I have with ALC292 is the headphone getting white noise on my E7440. Both patched AppleHDA and VoodooHDA are having this issue, even the latest voodoohda 2.8.5.
  20. You have to enable DualLink in your DSDT.aml. If possible, please attach your Extra folder.
  21. Actually your model is more like an E6330 but with a slightly larger chassis, downgrade your BIOS to A11, A12 causes artifacts on that model. Since you don't have Windows on this system, use a dos bootable disk.
  22. He meant motherboard. If you're having artifacts issue, make sure to you DON'T have BIOS version A13. Downgrade to A12 should fix it. If it's something else, please be specific of your issue.
