  1. What is your display resolution? What do you have in Extra including Extensions? Did you use myHack method for your build? Why Lion and not Mavericks?
  2. The guide from the link above only mentioned VGA, so I can't say if it'll work. Guess you'll just have to test and report back. Here's the instruction: Download attachedT410s.zip Backup DSDT.aml and FB from Extra/Extensions Replace file with attached, use the FB for LVDS-DP Launch myHack/myfix (quick) Restart your computer. Instruction from guide: While OS X is booting up (you see the Apple boot logo in your internal LCD display), connect your external VGA DP display. At one point, your internal LCD display will become disabled (black screen) and your desktop will appear in your external VGA DP display. That's it! If the native resolution of the external display is not correct, you can fix it by going to System Preferences>Displays. If the native resolution is not detected, you may have to install SwitchResX. If this doesn't work, I guess dP doesn't work. Then you'll have to replace FB with LVDS-VGA and try again.
  3. Which version of OSX Mavericks do you have? I'll update some files for you to test since I have not try this personally. I have always been using just the LCD. As you can see from the previous post, DP is shown as unknown, so probably not tested. If this doesn't work, you might have to stick with VGA.
  4. That's the limitation of the patched FB. You can read more about it here. It specifically mentioned that you can't have both LCD and External monitor, it's 1 or the other by switching FB.
  5. Awesome! That's what we're here to do. You could upgrade to 10.9.3, it's safe.
  6. What's so special about this magic stick? What method was it created with and boot pack used?
  7. I think the attachment got corrupted. I re-uploaded the file.
  8. Are you sure you have only HD 4000 and not Optimus with Nvidia nv5200m?

  10. Please upgrade to version the guide suggested. How did you install the boot pack? Did you run myHack/Install Extra and point to the boot pack? Make sure to use right boot pack for the same version of OSX you're installing.
  11. You need a built-in ethernet port to access App Store. Installing the Intel driver will fix the problem. If you don't have a built-in card, you could try this.
  12. A simple search of the forum would have brought you here and others.
  13. Try this one for Intel. place it in Extra/Extensions and run myfix (quick)
  14. It's not showing. Check your BIOS, it's most likely been disabled.
  15. From terminal, run lspci -nn and place output here. Perhaps you have different LAN card.
  16. Make sure you have the right BIOS setup too. Set it to the default, apply and then go back and set Sata Operations to AHCI.
  17. Have you tried resetting your BIOS to the default and then go back to set SATA Operations to AHCI? Also try booting with -v mode so you could see where the system fails.
  18. Why not use boot pack from Mavericks rather than ML?
  19. Please list the system's specs before we could assist you. CPU: Graphics: Intel HD Graphics LCD max Resolution: What OSX are you installing?
  20. See here http://myhack.sojugarden.com/2009/12/dual-booting-demystified/ by Conti himself Under Section 2 : Troubleshooting & Multi-Boots -> Section 2:a – Time synchronization -> Part 1) Windows
  21. It's more like the E6410 but with bigger screen and higher resolution. check this guide. It has the Nvidia graphics, but if you have only the 1st Generation HD Graphics, instructions are under Updates of the same guide.
  22. Have you set SATA Operations to AHCI? Try setting BIOS to default, apply, and then set SATA Operation to AHCI if the above didn't work.
  23. Check this http://myhack.sojugarden.com/2009/12/dual-booting-demystified/
  24. Congratulations! "Installation Failed" message is normal in Hackintosh world. If you check some of installation guides and you'll see it's mentioned.
  25. Interesting. I didn't know there's a 1200x800 resolution. I thought it's a typo...awesome.
