  1. You might need to try different FB. Check this link.
  2. I don't think sound is loaded in safe mode. ok, boot without the DSDT. Boot with IntelAzulFB=12 -v -f. If it boots, then try to export the DSDT with MaciASL or Chameleon Wizard. It might be different for the touchscreen models.
  3. just replace your SSDT with this one for i7-4600u
  4. Try this boot pack for your specs. Just change the Graphic Mode to 1920x1080. Touch panel will require additional software.
  5. Here's a short guide. I'll add more detail when I have more time.
  6. I use the myhack method for this build, so follow instructions to build your USB installer, set BIOS settings and run the OSX Installation from http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/ For best results, set BIOS to default, apply it and then go back to set Sata Operation to AHCI After creating your USB installer, run myHack again Select Install Extra and point to the Extra folder attached (extract it first) Extra_Mav.zip Boot up system with USB installer disk with flag -v -f (hit F12 - for boot options) Select your language and hit continue Click on Utilities and select Disk Utility Format the HDD per instruction from myHack site (GPT and Journaled preferably) Close Utilities and hit Continue to start the Installation Select "Use my Own" when prompt, point it to the Extra folder in the root of the USB installer drive When prompt to remove problematic kexts, select Yes, Yes, No System will automatically reboot when finish. Remove the USB installer drive You'll encounter "Invalid Partition Table" during boot, just hit the Enter key to continue Boot with -v flag to complete the installation After logging on: in System Preferences Enable Clicking for Trackpad Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere for Security &Privacy 14. Launch myHack, Install Chameleon to fix the "Invalid Partition Table" error 15. Install AppleHDA in /Extra/Extensions/SLE to /S/L/E with kextwizard, run myfix once more For Models with i7-4600u and 1920x1080 resolution Replace SSDT SSDT.aml.zip Change Graphics Mode to 1920x1080x32
  7. One way to know is after you create the USB Installer with myHack, it'll rename it to myHack OS X 10.9.x Install Disk. X represents whatever version of Mavericks you have (0, 1, or 2). I'll post a guide with boot pack soon.
  8. What version of Mavericks do you have and what version do you want to install? Haswell requires a modded kernel and it's different for 10.9.0/10.9.1 and 10.9.2.
  9. try booting with npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000
  10. I only use the myHack method.
  11. Could be your LVDS cable. Should say 2CH on the label on the back on the connector of the LCD. Have you try the boot pack for nvidia 4200m with Optimus disabled?
  12. Place file in Extra/Extensions, launch myHack, select my fix (quick). Make sure to select the USB Installer as the destination! For 10.7 or 10.8, check the compatibility list for x201s
  13. Perhaps those files are for Mavericks 10.9.2, so might not load for 10.9.1. Also your system has the 1st Generation HD 5700mhd, not HD 3000. Replace with this version for 10.9.1.
  14. What's your display resolution? Your graphics card is not loading... Read this post
  15. What version of OSX are you installing? What error or issue are you experiencing? You must enable "Memory Execution Protection" in your BIOS. otherwise, it will keep rebooting! as noted by KFP above.
  16. Post #7 you mentioned you have i7-2620QM, but your signature is i7-2720QM. I have an E6420 with i7-2620M without the Q, and bootpack only has SSDT for i7-2720QM, i7-2620M, i7-2760QM, i5-2520M. Perhaps using the wrong SSDT might cause such effects.
  17. I think he meant the installers.zip file at the bottom.
  18. Did you get the nvidia working or the Intel HD 4600 graphics? full QE/CI? If you need help with sound and network, run lspci -nn and post it here. We'll help sort that out.
  19. Sorry, I was assuming you have the same 1440x900 resolution as the OP since you didn't include your specs. Use this if you have 1280x800 AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext.zip
  20. Try this for 10.9.2. For 1440x900 resolution! For 1280x800, see 3 posts below AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext.zip
  21. Try updating AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB with this one. If it's still causing artifacts, try without it.
  22. You can check this guide by Darvinko for reference. It's for Mavericks, but it could work for ML. For OSInstall(MBR), check this which is also for Mavericks.
  23. Get the latest working version here. There is still some issue with the headphone, but better than nothing.
