  1. Yes, or you could use the Hackintool.app. Check our FAQ for more info
  2. How slow is slow? Are you booting in verbose mode? Have you tried repairing permissions and rebuild cache?
  3. Just download the Intel kext and add to kexts/Other You'll need an app call Heliport.app to configure the settings. The native won't work. For Hervé file, just leave out the DSDT.aml, as it's specific to his system and BIOS version / Configuration. The only patch in that DSDT is to enable Fn+F11 and Fn+F12 for brightness. Without it, you'll you can still control with Fn+S and Fn+B.
  4. You can try Hervé files from his 7490 guide. Intel wi-fi are still in development. See here. Otherwise replace it with a compatible device. Intel BT, try adding IntelBluetoothInjector.kext & IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext
  5. You'll need to run Catalina at minimum 10.15.3, best to go with the latest 10.15.6 Download vanilla installer from App Store, you'll need a Mac for this. You can do it from a PC as well, google the instruction. Once you have the installer created, mount the EFI partition. You can use Clover Configurator for that. Add the attached EFI folder to the EFI partition. See if you can boot with it. Press F12 to select it during boot up. Set BIOS to the following settings: UEFI = Enabled AHCI = Enabled Secure boot = Disabled Disable wake on USB/WLAN/LAN/WWAN/ Post error or screenshot for any issue. Please be specific. Vague response will not get your any help. Good Luck. EFI.zip
  6. If you had posted the error I could try to fix it, but that's alright. You got it working.
  7. Add this for SD Card reader For touchpad, remove all VoodooI2C* except VoodooI2C.kext and VoodooI2CHID.kext.
  8. VoodoPS2Controller-R6 works fine but I don't use on the Broadwell system with Alps version 6 or 7. It doesn't work so well so I stick with ApplePS2Controller.
  9. You didn't use the new Config.plist I attached, the wifi kexts were disabled.
  10. Try this Config, added verbose mode so to be able to determine the error config.plist.zip Also replace with this VoodooPS2 VoodooPS2ControllerR6.kext.zip
  11. Make sure to select 'Reset NVRam' at OC picker after the changes.
  12. What do you mean by No Luck after just adding the files and replacing the Config?
  13. If your DSDT is patched properly then yes, otherwise you''ll need boot from BIOS.
  14. Try adding this patch to Kernel patching, works for Catalina, not sure still for Big Sur Identifier = com.apple.driver.AppleAHCIPort Find = 40600200 Replace = 00000000 Comment = Patch Hotplug / Caddy
  15. Theres's only 1 sata port in the system. Do you mean the caddy where the media drive is?
  16. post the EFI folder + IOReg fie Atheros are not supported beyond High Sierra therefore you'll need to restore IO80211Family.kext from HS. For Big Sur, you'll need to 1st disable SIP, find and delete Snapshots, unSeal, then you can access /S/L/E. You'll have to google for the instructions, I don't have it off hand. After that, you'll still need to patch it to be compatible. Probably much easier to find a more compatible card.
  17. The SSDT from this EFI is totally different from the other EFI in this thread and from the EFI you had posted 7 posts up. Does it have the same error as from the screenshot above?
  18. DW1560, DW1830 or DW1820a. You can use your Intel too but still in development. Google itlwm + Heliport.app
  19. Here, replace the Config. Add the OpenCanopy.efi to Drivers and add the Image folder to Resources from above E7450_OC.zip
  20. Here, replace with this. You might have to tweak it some more after installation E6530_NVS-Disabled_BS_OC0.6.2.zip
  21. In Config file, change PickerAttributes=1, change PickerMode = External, Add OpenCanopy.efi under Drivers Remove -v from boot-arg under NVRam/Add/7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 Add OpenCanopy.efi to Drivers folder if you don't already and download the attached replace it into Resources folder Image.zip
