  3. Ya, we should find a way to map FN+arrow up/down to the correct keys.. FN+F5 = turns down light FN+F12 = Turns up light I read somewhere, that somebody have succeded in remapping that in dsdt... heard about that before ?
  4. Hi, Some important pointers, just follow the guide.. install chameleon 665 onto the HD, its a requirement - and put EDP on the hardddisk. While its good to have a usb stick, i have noticed alot of issues if only booting from USB. Also, we are atleast 10 others who have the same model as you, and it work out of the box, if you just follow the guide. As for the battery, if your battery isent orginal (you can get copy-cat/replacement batterys) - those might not be deteced correctly..
  5. Hey mate, Sorry, had to crash early yesterday - got the damn flu! Lets get this fixed. First a few questions if you dont mind (i might have asked it before, but i'm still in bed with the flu, so please bear over with me:) 1. Are you using an original or battery ? 2. Are you using latest BIOS update ? (You might wanna check another forum post here, CRC made a special bios update for the D430 series) 3. Just to make sure, you copied the EDP 1.5rc6 to /Extra on your harddisk .. right ? 4. Run edptool again, and do a new build, but dont restart, now try and copy voodoobattery.kext from /Extra/models/other-kexts into /Extra/Extentions Removed the "AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext", do a new build via edptool by selecting "make build from my present configuration"
  6. happy that its working for you..
  7. The 945 is pretty much the same as 950, so just choose D620-intel from the edptool...
  8. I use voodoops2 .. however, those doesnot have anything todo with the battery... And i use EDP 1.5 rc6
  9. Hmm.. gotta be some software config error, i have the excat same machine as you, and it works perfect here...
  10. Are you using the native battery meter in OSX or the one from istat ?
  11. what keyboard layout do you use ? (language)
  12. grap the latest EDP from the forum under betas... and put it on your HD and use bootloader 665 EDP 1.5 - rc6: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/130-edp-15-release-candidate-6-released/ Guide for doing new build: http://www.osxlatitude.com/groups/d4xosx/wiki/900e4/How_to_do_a_new_build.html //Leon

  16. Thats strange.. it works on mine... did you follow this guide ? http://www.osxlatitude.com/groups/d4xosx/wiki/6ae2d/Dualbooting_OSX_and_Windows.html
  17. once you see the chameleon boot screen.. press an arrow key and you should see your windows screen...
  18. seems like your edp package is screwed.. remember to do a new build after updating your EDP package... http://www.osxlatitude.com/groups/d4xosx/wiki/900e4/How_to_do_a_new_build.html
  19. do you have another mac and a external usb controller ?
  20. is it an orginal battery.. i have seen the same issue with a copy-cat battery
  21. Do this... 1. Boot into single mode by typing: -s -v [enter] In chameleon Mount your harddisk (i says on the screen howto do that) Then remove your /Extra folder by typing: rm -R /Extra Reboot the computer and boot of a clean leppy pen (the one of the wiki) once you are in osx, install bootloader (665) and a EDP 1.5 rc6 from the forum...
  22. when you see the chameleon boot screen, you can write boot cmds. Type: pmVersion=21 -v ... and hit enter to boot...
  23. try and boot with pmVersion=21 .. sounds like you are running a older EDP...
