  1. download the bootpack and when myHack asks for an Extra point it to the bootpack for both when making the usbpen and when after myHack installs and asks for an extra point it to the usbpen extra as it should be the bootpack used earlier used to make the usbpen drive.
  2. AppleACPIPlatform. kext (from OS X Snow leopard 10.6.x) should already be in the bootpack from the downloads section.
  3. do you have your bios set to ahci for sata ratafak? what bios are you at?
  4. see if you can test chameleon boot flag darkwake=0 or with a 1 to see if it helps with sleep. you can also try the pciroot=1 or 0
  5. if both are in .dsl format they can be compared with a text editor of some sort but i think that app has a compare feture
  6. edp will replace the files again with it's internal file... the graphics naming is cosmetic. if you wish you can just replace the dsdt but if you redo the model config it will again replace it. whats the difference between the dsdt's ?
  7. no just the normal procedures like shutting of wifi from bios if it's intel based one and bluetooth if you have one also make sure your in ahci sata mode if possible
  8. did you point my hack at the boot pack when it asked for an extra folder?
  9. not sure why it would do that then... in terminal type in man pmset and read through it maybe try a diffrent pm setting. like 0 or 3. usually it's sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0 to fix the issue. default apple config is 3.
  10. try a newer boot loader or look at the DSDT graphics sections from one of the GMA 945 based latitudes like d430/d620
  11. try a newer chameleon latest is 2050 i think as of posting.
  12. well another issue is that ML uses 64 bit kexts only and the NVHal40 kext is only 32 bit so there is also that factor. also i am not sure lion kernel will work on ML i know the ML DP1 kernel still had support for 32 bit kexts but it will bitch alot while booting in verbose. you would have to see all the drivers being used in Lion for graphics and add them in to ML as well. but it still wont have hardware acceleration. i tried on a similar model the d620 nvidia and it was very unusable compared to snow or lion when it worked correctly.
  13. idk thats weird. are you using nullcpu kext without sleep enabler? although the d620gma does not need those for sleep. and the bios's need to be current. i think the early bios's had sleep issues.
  14. could be a usb stick issue too they can overheat sometimes and lose contact internally.... it's happened to me. when the thumb drive is cold it worked fine after a few minutes it would just die. but in windows it seemed to work fine for quick file drops. weird but i guess thats not as intensive as installing an os with all those reads to it. go figure.
  15. yeah it's not supported in ml. no hardware acceleration for it in kernel.
  16. what bios version are you running? i think latest is a17 or a18.
  17. did you have the power plug in when doing the test? speedstep usually underclocks when on battery check what options you have in bios for the feature.
  18. well why not make another partition if using guide partition schema and clone your install to it using disk utility or cloning software then you can mess around with one of them.
  19. probably some type of dynamic acceleration in bios is on.
  20. do you have ahci on for sata controller in bios? also what bios are you running? maybe your bios does not support the feature if it's too outdated
  21. well then clone a working install to the ssd.... or check that extra is being transferred and boot -f -v flags
