  1. 0EDP does not use kexts inside of kexts... you have to go into the ApplePS2Controller.kext and pull the kexts out of the plugins folder and drop them into 0EDP.kext as well. so in this case its a total of 5 kexts AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext ApplePS2Controller.kext ApplePS2Keyboard.kext ApplePS2Mouse.kext VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext right click ApplePS2Controller.kext and chose show package content then click Contents, Plugins, everything in it move it to 0EDP.kext
  2. well chameleon wizard has efi support but you have to enable it in it's preferences on the top right . then you can mount it if you have one. but it is calling from hd(0,2)/Extra/ it might be set as your default drive. make the change there if you care to test, copy then rename the extra folder in that partition/drive make the changes if it doesn't work then rename your original extra folder back to Extra.
  3. yeah you might have settings in a different partition... it shows 2 Attempting to read GPT Read GPT Reading GPT partition 1, type C12A7328-F81F-11D2-BA4B-00A0C93EC93B Reading GPT partition 2, type 48465300-0000-11AA-AA11-00306543ECAC looks to be reading from this drive/partition Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/Extra/
  4. i believe you need the highres screen ribbon as well. but if you want to confirm and tinker swap the screens
  5. boot pack is only for a usb installer if your already running an os then you just install edp.pkg to it... 2.X clearly states it's only for lion.... edp1.9.X is snow leopard only... so make sure you installed the correct version for your os.
  6. https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/526-osx-lion-on-d630/page__view__findpost__p__6139
  7. yup that's the simplest method for me too. my hack even lets you install osx on a MBR drive. but you can't resize the partition later if you change your mind and need to make a partition. but that's only on a MBR install.
  8. well the trackpad is ANV's and the keyboard is slice they went there own way with the kext after a while. slice came out with his version and ANV with his. but i have been having issues compiling ANV's sources on Xcode 4.2 in lion. also please don't triple post once is good.
  9. im not sure on that model try it one way then another... on my d430 and d620 i have to turn wake on usb off or it won't sleep properly. but those are gma945 chipset models. there are also options in chameleon wizard to make usb patches you can try for org.chameleon.Boot.plist
  10. that dsdt is for d630 hansworth... there talking about a hardware modification of the actual lcd panel to a higher resolution one like you have but on a d620.
  11. unfortunately that's why edp has to be a bit generic, too many variables to truly harness the power of each of our machines....
  12. i think you have to have the same cpu as devious for his p-states to work properly for you. but i could be wrong.....
  13. yep it causes random kp's so does voodoobattery on a fresh boot. just reboot they really have not been updated to lion. seems work has stalled on those kexts. i guess chameleon is the voodoo teams priority for now.
  14. you need to find a legacy kernel that works for you and patched kexts for your graphics and ide bus... system specs
  15. use the edp pkg from wiki not the beta. and when you have a chance run disk utility and fix permissions with disk utility
  16. ? like in name or as a device? usually it gets ethernet and wifi mixed up but you can rename those
  17. maybe try erasing it first in diskutility?
  18. is this same topic in 2 threads... cause i swear i just saw this
  19. re download edp2.2 from wiki and rebuild for your machine save the changes you made as you might need to put it back after a build. 2.2 had a bug which is now resolved. it might not solve your issues but at least it wont introduce new ones.
  20. 2.2 was re released yesterday make sure to use the new version there was a bug wich would not clear the kexts in extentions
