try using ioatafamily.kext from 10.6.7 in s/l/e backup the original use kext wizard or something like it to install to s/l/e and have it rebuild catches
pop the d630's hdd into the d830 and test if it works than build the d830 with the same options as d630 but only try if there both the same video type... gma or nvidia... there hardware is almost the same on those models
ok tried it on a d430... pro's you can activate wake from usb in bios and it sleeps now also will wake from usb mouse.... but for some reason it drives the trackpad crazy it jumps all over the place had to diable it in bios. i have not tried vga, bluetooth. or dock. so your definitely on the right track in getting the little gremlins worked out. have yet to try your original d620 dsdt edits on my d620 intel.... waiting for a new hdd. will report back on that one when i get it back up.
update after a couple reboots trackpad is working again but it will not wake from usb mouse anymore but it can still sleep wile having usb wake enabled in bios wich it would not do previously it had to be off in bios for sleep to work properly before,
for the cpu speed it is a option in bios needs to be turned off has to do with over clocking dynamic something i think forgot the name but i have posted it a few times on the forum, the other issues seem to be you need nullcpu and sleep enabler, did you build edp using edptool.command? choose the option for them for your model and graphics type.
copy it over to snow and rename it... then boot chame with example... DSDT=dsdt1.aml or whatever you called dsdt.aml, you can add -v to see verbose output
boot -v -x and see where it's stuck... but the culprit could be chameleon... what version are you running
also update your bios for dsdt compatability.
hi and congratulations....
ok why gma fix corrupted f12 no clue... maybe you where using a different trackpad driver with had it working? or try clicking on the desktop then try eject... some time it's dependent of where your at in terms of active screen.....
in 64 bit appleintelframebuffer won't function as it's 32 bit only... apples doing not ours...
and finally the second monitor had to be disabled to get lid and internal lcd functional from dsdt....
hope that covers some peeves... osx is nothing like windows it's made to work on apples hardware. we are just lucky that our hardware is similar but involves tweaking but there is only so much that can be made compatible with out buying a real mac for a thousand plus bucks... hope it docent sound pessimistic but it's where we stand as mackintosh users.... with a laptop you don't have the flexibility to replace internals to make it even closer to vanilla as possible like a desktop. but at least we can make it usable enough to enjoy osx.
cheers
well the snow image is 10.6.0 and chameleon has changed since... back in the day it used com.apple.boot.plist edp uses the newer convention that is org.chameleon.Boot.plist.... edp 1.9.2 uses the org. naming check your extra folder. so if you used edp from 1.9.2 it uses the org version of the plist com and org are the same thing but they just chose to change the naming of it.
oh that... thats a sleep enabler issue.... you either have to update osx or replace sleep enabler or remove it... boot with pmVersion=0 -v at chameleon prompt that image is 10.6.0 so not compatible with latest snow edp
