  1. nope.. just bios defaults... i think your going to have to check that hdd with some low level software first like a manufacturer disk maybe MBR is locked up or corrupted or use some hdd erasing software first on it to wipe it all clean.
  2. single user mode will work with a usb keyboard but you have to boot with it plugged in.
  3. have you checked your bios options is trackpad enabled?
  4. Boot into Dos (use unetbootin to install freedos + the bios update to a usb pen
  5. now you need to apply the hibernation fix in edp... option2 then 2. yes they run warm on lion mostly when there is a lot of hdd activity like dropbox sync or spotlight index or video well flash video html5 runs a bit cooler. to keep temps down it needs nullcpu and the sleep enabler. or cookbook patched for lion (quirky) great in snow leopard though.
  6. there are 4 different options available to you during an edp build.... use the one that suits your needs
  7. have you tried disabling hibernation? in terminal type each line then hit enter after each... pmset hibernatemode 0 touch /var/vm/sleepimage rm /var/vm/sleepimage on some of our latitude models they needs a bios password.. you can check the wiki for instructions.... maybe your needs one? idk
  8. with my hack installer method it allows to install osx to mbr formatted hdd.... i have tried it and it works great. once you select the partition in installer then there you format your osx to journaled hfs but next time maybe i will install windows first. make 2 partitions one for windows one for osx then install osx and then chameleon bootmd0. on mine i installed osx first. then windows.
  9. check your temps with istat. maybe it's running hot. check the fan.

  16. edp2.2 does not have voodoohda2.7.2 it has 2.7.3? check s/l/e maybe you are running it there? delete it if it is and just to be safe re download edp2.2 from the wiki, reinstall and run edptool.command from Extra build for your model.
  17. well try without the wait command and make sure guy is selected in chame wiz. you can also set your default partition there if you wish... maybe the one you want to boot not the one it feels like choosing...
  18. looks like a chameleon issue reinstall chameleon
  19. 0EDP does not use kexts inside of kexts... you have to go into the ApplePS2Controller.kext and pull the kexts out of the plugins folder and drop them into 0EDP.kext as well. so in this case its a total of 5 kexts AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext ApplePS2Controller.kext ApplePS2Keyboard.kext ApplePS2Mouse.kext VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext right click ApplePS2Controller.kext and chose show package content then click Contents, Plugins, everything in it move it to 0EDP.kext
  20. well chameleon wizard has efi support but you have to enable it in it's preferences on the top right . then you can mount it if you have one. but it is calling from hd(0,2)/Extra/ it might be set as your default drive. make the change there if you care to test, copy then rename the extra folder in that partition/drive make the changes if it doesn't work then rename your original extra folder back to Extra.
  21. yeah you might have settings in a different partition... it shows 2 Attempting to read GPT Read GPT Reading GPT partition 1, type C12A7328-F81F-11D2-BA4B-00A0C93EC93B Reading GPT partition 2, type 48465300-0000-11AA-AA11-00306543ECAC looks to be reading from this drive/partition Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/Extra/
