  1. lion is a bit easier to install on d630 use simons high res dsdt it's in the forum somewhere and the myhack method.
  2. ahh iFail yeah we don't use it, you don't know what they modified for that reason we use official mac os.
  3. get retail snow as it seems the image is corrupted. we do not support that image. then use the my hack method in wiki.
  4. lower the Khz in midi control prefpane.
  5. it's a hidden file in the root of installer probably didn't get transferred. try use myhack
  6. sudo pmset ttyskeepawake 0 helps me with ich9/10 sleep issues in lion... default is 1 so you can change it back if you wish
  7. it could be a couple of issues.... dependent on what chameleon rev your running your boot plist is dependent on that.... old chame revs need com.apple.boot.plist; new chame needs org.chameleon.Boot.plist, or you might not have a theme in extra or selected in the boot plist or your chame is in efi and theres no boot plist with it

  14. no... you might have to do a verify on your image. it might be corrupted.
  15. should be ok. maybe wireless depending on what your using... but all in all doable.

  18. i dont know how well that will go you and slice almost made a completely new dsdt for this machine.... i would hate to hackup an almost perfect dsdt...
  19. buy a compatible dell wireless card there dirt cheap
  20. you also have to run edptool.command and build for your machine
  21. no, pcmcia only worked till 10.6.7
  22. check if dynamic over clocking is set to on in the bios... if it is shut it off.
