  1. if your blutooth is higher than dellblutooth 360 revision then you need to google for your version... maybe its an upgraded model like 370....
  2. are you using a dsdt? or it could be you wifi card being enabled in bios
  3. depending on you dell bluetooth module you might have to google for a kext
  4. yeah you have dynamic acceleration enabled in bios... known issue but not really a problem.

  6. i think one of the crew has one maybe as he progresses he will shed some lite on the subject. but like all hacks you need certain baseline setup of kexts, smbios, boot.plist, extracted dsdt, and a bootloader at least to start building from... i would worry about audio and trackpad/ keyboard after getting it to installer reliably. some times you need nullcpu.kext to bypass acpi errors
  7. you need to patch your dsdt for your ich sata controller or try with npci=0x2000 or 0x3000 -v with the graphics enabler yes
  8. no they don't... well not on our alps trackpads anyways...
  9. thats why we dont use tony's stuff it's not reliable and is unnecessary.... you need to dump your dsdt and patch it.

graphic wise the d620 would be smoother...
  13. make sure the internal cpu heatsink is not clogged with dust... some disasembly may be in order.
  14. try a different trackpad option maybe...
  15. no...on the d430 the cpu is unified to the motherboard, it is not an interchangeable part as it is with the other models.... wish it could that and maybe 4 gb of ram
  16. you can use the one supplied with my hack 2.2
  17. i get about 3 to 3-1/2 hours on my 2 year old 9 cell official dell battery.
  18. make sure it's seated correctly and that pci and wifi are on in bios like Syonagar states... if you have a model with a wifi switch then make sure it's on as well
  19. what os and version are you using for rebranding as that also is a factor?
  20. well there are a couple of ways around that that happened to me with my desktop. what i did was connect my sata hdd to a usb converter then it was seen in the disk utility... then i installed osx that way. once it booted i was able to run lion off of usb enough to dump my dsdt and install ioatafamily from 10.6.7 into s/l/e rebuild my caches and install the hdd back to my internel sata... you van also try at chameleon prompt -v npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000 but if you patch your DSDT properly then you do not need the ioatafamily kext from SL 10.6.7
  21. try rebooting sometimes voodoo hda kp's on first boot or try -v -x also if you have a "backup" extra folder on root of drive you can boot to it using Extra=whatever you called it. and it is case sensitive so if you have caps in the name you need to use em...
