  1. what bios are you at elim?
  2. https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1422-edp-30-released/
  3. try booting with -f -v if that does not work then add -x also
  4. the problem with hp is that they whitelist the wifi cards in the bios, basically what that means is that your laptop will refuse to boot with a wifi card that your bios does not deem safe to boot with, you would need to find out what cards are supported for your laptop and also for osx. so please research before buying any wifi card as you might be wasting money if your machine does not like it. off hand though i have no clue about that.

sorry about that... but we dont have one, you might actually have a good chance trying my hack with his generic extra, then tweek the extra folder with the kexts you would need to get you fully up and running.
  6. try edp 3 or try edp downloads pack... nvidia on the top menu, i think only gma version needs high low resolution edits
  7. EDP 3 supports d620 just fine.... you need to change your install method,i have no clue what your iboot (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) installer is doing.
  8. d620 does not have AHCI option for sata in bios.... it sounds like you have a build issue with the kernelcatch build run edp 3
  9. there all in the chameleon boot loader help menu just scroll down to the help part on a fresh boot.
  10. we define the kernel Kernel mach_kernel because there is a chance of chameleon not finding mach_kernel... rare but can and has happened. as for the kernel cache yes it is for speed of boot purposes, lion does not read .mkext extensions any longer neither does mountain lion. without using the kernelcache it would have to load all files from E/E and S/L/E before booting the os.
  11. the thing is with that arch=i386 some of the trackpad options are 32 bit only and some models are intel which do not have 64 bit video drivers, in order to maintain compatibility then we run it at default 32 bit, feel free to select a 64 bit trackpad option and remove i386 to as Nvidia, Core2duo D830 supports 64 bit. Kernel mach_kernel UseKernelCache Yes 0 is used to speed up your boot times.... feel free to remove em if you like long lasting boots... cheers
  12. use chameleon from myhack 3.1 dropdown options if that does not help then you must have chameleon in efi like i mentioned before
  13. google around for a patched ATIRadeonX3000.kext?
  14. does the same thing happen with arch=i386 instead of -force64? also early snow has issues with the hd3000. im not sure if the kexts in 10.6.8 are any better either
  15. yup sounds about right for an amd setup... google, it's your best friend!
  16. have you repaired permissions with disc utility? i see your at 10.6.8. most likely if you updated your permissions might be screwy.
  17. yeah kexts wizard is not very reliable....
  18. if syonagars methode does not help you can try to resize your osx volume.... if you cant then it's most likely a mbr partition. you can also use myhack 3.1 to re install chameleon
  19. also try -v -x and see if maybe it will boot into safe boot
  20. idk sounds like maybe you need to use some older kexts? from 10.6.7, like ioatafamily or iopcifamily, and maybe your wifi kext? io80something kext...
  21. it sound like you have not used edp to build for your machine.... lagging like that is usually lack of voodootscsync.kext in your extra folder, no audio and wifi is also a sure sign of that as the bootpack is just that a bare bones folder to get you installed... it is not a full solution. installing and running edp is, cheers
  22. try booting off of a usb stick with chameleon on it then re install the boot loader if you get back into osx
