go to the myhack website and download myhack 3.1, in the dropdown of the app it has the option to install chameleon... it has to be done from osx.

it sounds like you have a 4k offset sector drive.... install chameleon from my hack app it should correct your boot loader

check the forum for a dsdt.aml for D630 NVidia 1440x900 model but i do not think nvidia models need high resolution edits

sounds like a faulty disc rom.... also make sure it's not a cd rom but a dvd rom as i think windows is a dvd not a cd as for the thumbdrive not showing make sure you have legacy boot on in bios.... it actually states it will not boot from usb if option is off.

sorry but you dont.... the wifi lights only works on leopard 10.5 it does not work on 10.6, 10.7 or 10.8

d430 needs a dsdt.aml and does not run properly in 64 bit it must use arch=i386

pmVersion=0 is usually needed if your using sleepenabler and nullcpu kexts mach_kernel you can define in in the org.chameleon.Boot.plist, it might already be definrd so just try booting without it and see

you could never go wrong with a backup.... if you drive is big enough you could partition it and make the clone usable as another install on the same hdd.. good when you need to get back

yes it's only for lion at the moment you would need 1.9.x for snow leopard install it and build for your model

only thing i could think of is if you are saying that my hack is installed properly then edp is not in the correct place and it's looking at a different root point. my 2 cents but ask leon.

check in bios if you have usb waking enabled and shut it off. make sure all waking methods are off.

check the smbios.plist to see if it has memory speed defined in it.. correct it as needed.

are you sure you completely replaced the extra folder then added the boot pack? not just merged the 2 folders? also did you run my fix after doing that? it looks like fakesmc is having conflicts.... that usually happens when you use edp fakesmc plugins and myhack fakesmc. there not compatible yet

well try booting with the cpus=1 flag if that helps then you can add it as an option to your .Boot.plist or add a tscsync.kext to your extra folder

and you added AppleACPIPlatform.kext in extra and re ran myfix? try adding npci=0x2000

im not sure but i think lion needs 2 gigs of ram

try the USBBusFix=yes flag at boot

well i guess for the usb one see if the manufacturer has a osx installer? and as for the laptop if it's centrino then your wifi is intel and not supported in that case you need to buy one that works in osx. like a broadcom card

well if you ever decide that the d630 will be your main machine and still have the d620 high-res screen, the lids/screens are interchangeable but you need to also swap the ribbon. cheers.
