did -x -v give any errors? is it whit screen and a mouse arrow? might be stuck at loading your graphics.

have you tried the wiki method? also if you have intel wifi on d630 remove or shut it off in bios.

if you have intel wifi remove it or shut it off in bios. it breaks installer. if Syonagar's sugestion above does not help then try -v -x to boot in safe mode to install.

try lowering the khz in midi audio setup in applications utilities folder.

no there headphone plus headset it does both.... so you can listen to music from your iPhone and also talk if you get a call... weird to have a conversation in stereo... lol maybe you have to play with the settings for BT or audio? check in midi setup too just in case.

yes you can run edptool again and choose another option... but make sure that trackpad is not disabled in bios first.

no wifi light does not turn on since 10.6 snow and according to the above picture your pci buss does not even see the wifi card... try it in the other slot or make sure pci is on in bios

if you have another mac/hack and a usb sata converter you can install to the hdd then pop it in and continue to troubleshoot.

hmm try cd / hit enter sudo touch System/Library/Extensions in terminal on your mac so it rebuilds em.

if you can boot with single user mode at chameleon prompt which would be -s then do sbin/mount -uw / hit enter then cd Extra hit enter then ./edptool.command hit enter that should get you into the edp build..... then rebuild for your machine again

yeah the wifi light does not come on since 10.5.8. im glad you narrowed it down for your own future reference... cheers.

have you tried removing all wifi kexts in e/e and leaving the stock one in s/l/e. on mine when i install snow or lion fresh even ML it just works otb. unless your caches still have the old kexts and there conflicting. you can also try booting the os installer and see if you notice wifi on the top right. then that would mean it's running native.

have you made sure it's seated correctly in the socket and turned on in bios and switch if applicable?

did it work in osx before, or is it known to work with osx? i have no clue about wifi...

whats the issue exactly... did you try checking to see if it shows in networking.
