  1. it has to be merom architecture socket M for gma945 chipset compatibility with a fsb of 667. t7700 has a 800 mhz fsb so no it will not... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Core_2_microprocessors#.22Merom.22.2C_.22Merom-2M.22_.28standard-voltage.2C_65_nm.29
  2. replace the extra folder in the image with one for your model laptop and yes use the newest boot loader you can find chameleon wizard usually has recent builds or champ list the only thing with using newest boot loader is that com.apple.boot.pilist was changed to org.chameleon.Boot.plist so if your extra folder has com.apple.boot.pilist rename it to the org.... make sure boot has a cap B in boot.
  3. well if you have a usb to hdd adapter you can modify it on another mac.
  4. c-states error is normal for older dell laptops.... you might have other issues.... your sata might be set to ide instead of ahci.... your catches might be corrupted, or edp was not installed correctly.
  5. you need to install the bootloader to the lion partition
  6. use boot pack from your machine from wiki instead for the installer then install edp after os install..... but it make sure you have core 2 duo for lion install if not your going to waste your time as it will not work on core duo cpu.

    PCMCIA

it should be installed into s/l/e not extra.....
  8. edp has to be installed to set permissions from the package.... once it installs itself into extra it should open a terminal window prompting for password to gain root privileges so it can build...
  9. no your correct in your order... bootloader never gets overwritten by osx updates. so update first then edp if you already have a running edp system.

then the kext does not work on your hardware.... that's kinda why we never fully supported it. very iffy. i don't remember if you can add device id's to it's plist.
  11. check in Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist that restart fix is applied with chameleon wizard or champlist

i had it working on my d620-intel the driver had to be in s/l/e but on some models it would cause kp on boot unless there was a card inserted it was called IOPCMCIAFamily.kext if you look in Extra/storage/kextpacks/pcmcia you should find it.... use an app to install to s/l/e but be warned it might crash your install. WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT TRY IT ON LION. IT'S A 16BIT LEGACY KEXT FROM OSX 10.4
  13. it should work.... if not then your ethernet might have issues. i have 2 d620's one ethernet does not work because they used a bios password wipe software witch seems to have wiped the ethernets rom i think it was called asset recovery. and the other works fine
  14. well does lan or wifi work? download it and install it to the drive.
  15. well one is for 10.6.0 and the other lists what it's intended for
  16. try booting -v -x or repairing permissions if you can...
  17. make sure that terminal is not running before executing the command edptool
  18. install edp to the mac partition when it finishes go to /Extra folder and run edptool.command it should prompt for your password then do option 1 and build for d620-intel
  19. sometime when they get weird you have to repair permissions using disk utility
  20. that only works for me if i wake from sleep... never on a cold boot or restart
  21. yes it uses extra folder but once up and running you have to build edp for your d620 so it can grab some audio kexts from s/l/e... i have that model and it works.
  22. yeah it's the same method as the 420 in wiki.... but make sure you have usb wake off in bios and run sleep fix from edp. might work
  23. well is it an image or a genuine mac usb if it's mac then try my hack but you still will need another drive to output the new "installer" then install Chameleon to it and edp boot pack after install then install edp to your new lion and build for your machine.
